I was fighting back my tears!

After my flight home to Houston, I stopped at Church’s Chicken because I was too tired to cook. While in the drive thu I saw a gentleman searching through the trash for food, and it broke my heart. You can hear me fighting back my tears as I spoke with him. I bought him a meal and gave him my number. The next day, I offered to help him get off the streets, but he declined.
We can’t help everyone, but we can care enough to try. That’s what the Salt and Pepper Gang is about, a brotherhood that genuinely cares. Pay attention to your surroundings. You never know who needs a little compassion. ❤️

🏀 HOOP 2 VOTE — MORE THAN BASKETBALL

This past weekend was filled with competition, connection and community.

In 2024, fewer than half of U.S. citizens ages 18–24 voted. Hoop 2 Vote uses the power of basketball to bring young adults together while encouraging civic participation and community involvement.

The Salt & Pepper Gang is doing our part—but it takes an entire community to make a difference.
