Happy transport day! 🥳

Rosko & Lily Bloom are loaded up and headed to meet their new families on the East Coast!

Rosko came to us as an owner surrender and Lily Bloom was found as a stray on the streets of Houston. We’re so glad these 2 are on to bigger and better futures!

A huge thank you to both of their incredible fosters for selflessly opening their homes and preparing them for adoption. We are so, so grateful to have you be apart of our team! 🩵

Transport #2 is underway!

Bevo is loaded up and headed to meet his new family. This Texas boy will be an East Coast Canadian! 🇨🇦 A huge thank you to his foster momma, who at one point had Bevo’s mom and all 11 puppies! We’re so grateful to have you be a part of our team!

✨ Meet Mickey & Minnie! 🐭❤️ ✨

When they were just 8 weeks old, a trusted foster of ours found these two little siblings trying to survive on their own at a taco truck. Thankfully, they were scooped up, seen by a veterinarian, and given a clean bill of health. Now, at 12 weeks old, they’re thriving in foster care and working their way toward being fully vaccinated!

Like any puppies their age, they’re full of playful energy, curiosity, and endless zoomies. They’re also learning all the important puppy skills like potty training and crate training. Their foster dad says they’re incredibly cuddly, affectionate, and always happy to be close to their people.

Mickey and Minnie currently live with other dogs and cats and have done great! We’d love to see them join a home with another friendly dog who can continue showing them the ropes and help build their confidence.

Introducing Opalite, FKA Opal from BARC 🐾

It’s hard to believe that all of these pictures are the same pup. 🥲

The first photo was taken when she was found abandoned outside of a grocery store. She was scared, neglected, and in desperate need of help. The second shows her at the shelter, still waiting for someone to see her potential.

And then, there’s the third photo. 🥹

Healthy. Happy. Loved. Safe.

The only thing that changed? Someone gave her a chance.

A little TLC, proper nutrition, veterinary care, and an amazing foster willing to open their home completely changed Opalite’s life.

This is why fostering matters. This is why rescue matters. Every dog deserves the opportunity to become the best version of themselves.

🐾 Meet Rosko! 🐾

Rosko is the total package, and we’re determined to help him find the loving family he deserves. 🩵

This handsome 5-year-old Husky/German Shepherd mix has spent nearly his entire life with one family, but due to a change in circumstances, his owner can only keep him until the end of the month.

Rosko is:
🐶 Dog friendly and loves to play
🐱 Has lived peacefully with cats
👧 Kid friendly (even with energetic little ones!)
🏡 Potty trained, crate trained, and trustworthy free roaming
🚗 Excellent in the car
🦴 Smart, well-mannered, and knows lots of commands
🚶 Walks well on a leash
❤️ Friendly with everyone he meets. He truly has never met a stranger!

His current owner describes him as a one-of-a-kind dog who is incredibly loving, well-behaved, and always receives compliments everywhere he goes.

While Rosko isn’t officially part of our rescue, we’re stepping in to help him find the forever home he deserves. If we find the right family, we can secure a temporary foster until they’re able to bring him home.

Update: home safe!!!!

🚨 BEAVERTON, OR 🚨

Java got spooked at the park and took off running. If you’re near Channing Heights Park in Beaverton, OR please keep an eye out for him. 😭

If you do see him, PLEASE DO NOT APPROACH HIM. He is very skittish and will NOT come to you! We just need sightings at this time, so his family can get him safely.

Java is a 1 year old male, neutered and microchipped. He has a beautiful brindle coat.
