🌺 June Adoptable Dog Series Day 11 🌺

Meet Bali!

At just 1 year old and around 40 pounds, Bali is the perfect mix of sweet, independent, and a little bit sassy. She loves collecting every toy she can find, treasures her crate as her own little sanctuary, and has a way of looking at you that makes you wonder if she’s deciding whether you’re worthy of being her best friend. 🤭

Bali is potty trained, crate trained, and currently lives successfully with both dogs and cats. While she can be shy when meeting new people, once she feels safe, her loving personality begins to shine.

Her foster mom says Bali would thrive in a calm home with patient people who will give her the time she needs to settle in and then spoil her like the princess she is. 👑

Bali hasn’t had the easiest start in life, but she’s ready for a forever family who will show her what it feels like to be cherished.

🌴June Adoptable Dog Series Day 10🌴

Meet Aruba!

Aruba was rescued from an abandoned property alongside 11 other dogs with her 7 puppies. While all of her babies have been given a chance at a forever home, now it’s Aruba’s turn.

This sweet 3-year-old girl is the definition of low-maintenance. She’s fully potty trained, crate trained, dog friendly, cat friendly, and loves nothing more than lounging in the sunshine, taking naps, and spending time with her people. ☀️

Aruba can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she feels safe, you’ll be greeted with her adorable happy hops every time you come home! Her foster family describes her as loving, gentle, cuddly, and incredibly sweet. 🥰

Happy $5 Friday from Jenny 🩵

At 10 years old, Jenny should be spending her golden years surrounded by love, comfort, and family. Instead, she came to us after her owner passed away. The remaining family member was elderly and unable to provide the care Jenny needed. She came to us severely matted, covered in fleas, nails overgrown and what we thought was a nasty UTI.

After multiple urinalyses, rounds of antibiotics, a urine culture, bloodwork, kidney function testing, X-rays, and an ultrasound, we finally got the answer we were afraid of - Jenny has bladder cancer. 💔

Because of Jenny’s age, pursuing an oncology workup and treatment plan would cost between $5,000-$10,000 and would likely put her through extensive testing and procedures during her remaining time. Instead, we’ve chosen to focus on what matters most and that’s keeping Jenny comfortable and happy.

She’s currently on medication to help reduce inflammation and potentially slow the growth of the tumor. So far, we’ve spent over $1,000 on diagnostics and care, and we will continue providing whatever she needs to ensure her remaining days are filled with comfort and dignity.

The hardest part? Jenny has been given approximately six months to live.

But if you met her today, you’d never know it! Jenny still enjoys life, seeks affection, and greets each day with a wagging tail. We’re managing her symptoms, cherishing every good day, and making sure she knows she is loved.

When the time comes, we’ll make the compassionate decision to let her go peacefully. Until then, we’re giving Jenny the best retirement we possibly can.

For this week’s $5 Friday, we’re asking for just $5 to help cover Jenny’s ongoing medications, veterinary care, and comfort measures.

$5 may not seem like much, but when our village comes together, it makes all the difference. 🫶🏼

Bee may not be selling out stadiums, but she’s ready to be the star of someone’s home.

After being rescued from a hoarding situation, Bee is learning what it means to be loved, safe, and part of a family. She’s a gentle soul who absolutely thrives with other dogs and takes comfort in following their lead. In fact, her ideal home includes a friendly resident dog who can continue helping her build confidence and show her the ropes.

Once Bee decides you’re her person, get ready for a love like no other. She’ll happily climb into your lap, soak up every bit of affection, and remind you daily why her foster family has fallen so hard for her. Her foster mom says she’s one of the most loving dogs she’s ever fostered. 💕

And honestly? We think he’s ready to be the main character in someone’s story. 🩵

Meet Harry Styles: blue-eyed heartthrob, professional adventure buddy, expert cuddle enthusiast, and certified good boy.

Harry treats every walk like he’s on a world tour. 🪩 He loves exploring new places, sniffing every interesting smell, riding shotgun on car adventures, and making friends wherever he goes. If there’s a trail to hike, a log to jump on, or a treat to sniff out, Harry is ready for it.

Meet Hilary! 🐾

At 3 years old, Hilary has already overcome more than any dog should have to. She came from a hoarding situation where she spent her life living in a garage, but somehow she still greets the world with a gentle heart, a goofy personality, and so much love to give.

Hilary is the kind of dog who becomes your little shadow. She’ll follow you from room to room, curl up beside you on the couch, watch you cook dinner, and happily claim a spot in your bed if you’ll let her. Her foster mom says she twirls with excitement when she realizes she gets to come along for an adventure. 💕

She’s fully potty trained, crate trained, wonderful with other dogs, and would love a canine companion in her forever home. Hilary is low-to-medium energy, walks beautifully on leash, and is happiest simply being near her people.

Because of her past, Hilary can be shy when meeting new people, especially men. If you give her a little patience, kindness, and time, and she’ll reward you with endless loyalty and affection. Once you’re in her circle, you’re there for life. 🩵

Hilary is fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and weighs 38 pounds.

Meet Dottie!

If you’re looking for a best friend who’s equal parts cuddle bug, comedian, and loyal sidekick, Dottie might just be your girl! 🐾

Dottie is the kind of dog who greets every day (and every person she loves) with pure excitement. She’s always happy to see you, loves giving kisses, and will happily curl up next to you after a day of play. 🎾

Dottie is currently in a foster home in Portland, OR, but will be coming back to Texas next weekend if we can’t find another solution for her.

✨ June Adoptable Dog Series: Day 5 ✨

Ziva 🖤

This gorgeous 3-year-old Rottweiler has been through more than her fair share. After her owner passed away, Ziva was left living alone in a backyard for weeks, relying on kind neighbors for food and company until we were able to get her to safety.

Ziva is dog friendly, but she prefers large male dog companions. She’s been around children ages 13 + and is always sweet towards them. She’s also been around a 4 year old, but her foster mom suggests supervision because she truly doesn’t know her size. She is also cat friendly and doesn’t pay any attention to cats.🐱 Her foster mom describes her as a FANTASTIC dog and says she makes for a great adventure / running buddy! 🏃🏻‍♀️

Ziva is the kind of dog who asks for affection, leans into you for pets, enjoys car rides, loves her walks, and quietly snuggles up when she wants attention.

She’s looking for an experienced Rottie home that understands that she can have her stubborn side. If that’s you, you’re getting one loyal, loving, and unforgettable best friend. 🩵 Ziva is fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and currently weighs 80 pounds.
