Hoover Helps Hoover Helps is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is committed creating and supporting programs that help meet the basic needs of children in Hoover.

We work with faith-based organizations and local companies to help children in need. Hoover Helps is committed to helping meet the basic needs of children in Hoover. We partner with the City of Hoover, faith-based organization and local businesses to help children that are food insecure by providing a variety of feeding programs. Hoover Helps work alongside Neighborhood Bridges Hoover to help identify, post and meet the basic needs of children in our community. We are eager to create local partnerships to enhance our ability to help more children.

The Jags took the win on the field, but the Bucs came out on top in fundraising! 💰🙌 Congratulations to both teams for an incredible Hunger Challenge!

A HUGE thank you to each and every one of our amazing donors who showed up, gave generously, and helped make this year’s challenge a success. ❤️ Your support makes a real difference in the lives of children in our community.

At the end of the day, the biggest win is for Hoover kids! Every dollar helps provide weekend meals, meet basic needs, and ensure children receive the ongoing care and support they deserve.

Give to your team in the Hunger Challenge, then show your kids what community looks like. Every dollar helps Hoover children who need food at home on weekends. About 500 local kids have been identified as food insecure, and there are likely many more.

Whether you bleed orange and black or blue and black, you’ve been talking about your high school for years. Now back it up. 😏

The Hunger Challenge is your chance to prove which school’s graduates are the most generous. Hoover kids get food in their backpacks for the weekend, and one group of alumni gets to be insufferable about it.

Right now, Hoover High leads, while Spain Park trails. Jags fans, you’ve got some catching up to do. 👀

Hoover Helps is neutral, so we’re not saying it’s over. We ARE saying there’s still time to flip the scoreboard, and plenty of time left. Bucs fans, don’t get comfortable.

Either way, Hoover kids win. Every dollar helps with weekend meals, basic needs, and ongoing care for children in our community.
