We are just as heartbroken as all of you!
Unfortunately, an event this large has so many moving parts that it cannot be changed on a dime. This is why we had to go ahead and make the call on Wednesday with the best information that we had at the time. Rain alone is tricky enough, as it can damage many types of art, and would preclude many of the things that make the Bluff Park Art Show so great, such as kids' art, live music, and possibly even food vendors. But our largest concern was that, were there to be any lightning, we'd have to evacuate the park. There simply is no easy way to do that, and we can't risk the safety of our artists, vendors, volunteers, or patrons. Please know that we considered every possible alternative before deciding to cancel.
Continue to follow us on Facebook and Instagram for announcements on the possibility of a make up show in the winter months.
We encourage you to shop our artists personal pages to support them. On our website click on the artists tab and you will find a listing of all the 2026 artists with a link to their pages.
