🌍 We Stand Together for a Great Community for All 💙
For nearly 40 years, our Harrisonburg and Rockingham County community has remained committed to welcoming newcomers—immigrants, refugees, and non-citizens from around the world—who are building hopeful futures right here at home.
Today, three organizations continue that legacy of compassion, support, and opportunity:
✨ Skyline Literacy (est. 1987) empowers individuals through English language learning, citizenship preparation, and career pathways.
✨ Church World Service (locally since 1988) walks alongside refugees and immigrants as they adapt to life in a new culture—while uplifting their voices through advocacy.
✨ NewBridges Immigrant Resource Center (est. 2000) connects immigrant neighbors with vital legal support, document services, and everyday resources to build stability and belonging.
🌐 In our local community, more than 70 languages are spoken and over 50 countries are represented. That diversity is our strength.
Now, during a time of unprecedented change, we’re coming together to ask for your support.
