Valley United for Veterans would like to extend our thanks to the musical act, the craft vendors, food vendors, all the help behind the scenes putting this event together, and especially the attendees yesterday that that came out and made this a successful event. We raised more than $2000 yesterday to help veterans in the Shenandoah Valley! Stay tuned for the next event!!

This evening, members of Valley Freedom Riders, representing our initiative to help Veterans with the help and support from Salute of Virginia in Waynesboro here in the Valley, presented the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Harrisonburg a plaque. This plaque is a small representation of their commitment to our goal, to help those Veterans in need. With their donations and the help from Leah at Salute for coordinating everything, Salute was been able to commit monies to 8 Veterans right here since Jan 1. From all of us at VUFV and Salute of Virginia, we thank them and you for your donations!

You don't want to miss this event!, join us at Jr Order Grounds in Elkton, VA on May 9th and support our local veterans. We will kick off the day with a benefit motorcycle ride leaving at 10:00 am, car, truck, and motorcycle show starting at 11:00. Food trucks, craft vendors and live music.
