A small group of travelers just returned from Cuba, where they were able to deliver nearly 600 pounds of much-needed medicine and medical supplies to help support local communities and healthcare efforts.

Thank you for being part of the mission.

We are so grateful for the generosity of Westminster Presbyterian Church and their incredible support of First-Hand Aid!

Today, a dedicated group of travelers from Westminster sorted and packed donated goods in preparation for their upcoming trip to Cuba. Later this week, they’ll be delivering much-needed medicine and clothing to communities in need.

Thank you for making a meaningful difference through your compassion and service!

First-Hand Aid travelers recently returned from Cuba, where they had the opportunity to serve and connect with local communities.

Volunteers delivered diapers and supplies to a nursing home and a foster care facility for children with special needs, alongside local church partners. They also provided infant clothing to families in San Antonio.

Thank you to everyone who made it possible!

An Ada couple's trip to Cuba earlier this year opened their eyes to the basic necessities many Americans may take for granted.

We’ve heard from so many of you asking how you can help, and we’re incredibly grateful. One of the biggest ways you can make an impact this year is by joining us at Havana Night!

As we continue expanding our efforts, from providing medicine and food to supporting access to batteries, housing, and family care, growing our fundraising goals is more important than ever.

Stay tuned, we’ll be sharing more details about Havana Night next week. We hope to see you there!

Cuba is facing a devastating crisis. After a total collapse of the electrical grid last week, the entire country was left in darkness, some for days, and daily blackouts of 8–12 hours continue.

Healthcare conditions are worsening, with over 96,000 people waiting for surgery, including 11,000 children. Hospitals lack even basic supplies, and power outages are making care even more difficult. Doctors are earning just $16 a month.

Gas prices are nearing $40 a gallon, and food is increasingly scarce.

We have not forgotten those who’ve offered to travel and help, we are working to find the best way to support during this crisis.

A heartbreaking reality for so many.

The situation in Cuba continues to worsen.

Last week, Air France, the last European airline flying to Cuba, announced its final flight will be March 31, effectively ending most tourism from Europe. Nearly three-fourths of the island also experienced a 72-hour blackout, leaving many families without electricity.

Fuel prices continue to rise, leaving streets nearly empty and public transportation extremely limited. Meanwhile, shortages of food and medicine persist.

First-Hand Aid will continue traveling to Cuba as long as we are permitted. Our trips may be shorter, but our focus remains the same, bringing critical supplies and support to the people who need it most.
