First-ever Try Goalie for Free Clinics, open to youth hockey players registered in Maine who would like the opportunity to give the position a try!

We currently have two clinic dates scheduled:

Saturday, October 3

All sessions will be hosted at The Ice Shack Mini Rink in Chelsea, Maine.

These clinics are completely FREE and are the perfect opportunity for players and families interested in goaltending to experience the position in a fun, low-pressure environment.

We will have quick-change goalie equipment available that should fit most players approximately 6 to 11 years old. All ages are welcome, but players older than that should plan on bringing their own goaltending equipment.

TRI-STATE GIRLS’ T-4 HOCKEY LEAGUE ANNOUNCES FORMATION AND UPCOMING INAUGURAL SEASON

GORHAM, ME – AUGUST 9, 2026 — The Tri-State Girls’ T-4 Hockey League is officially announcing the upcoming youth hockey season, driving a powerful mission to empower the next generation of female athletes through sport. The State youth hockey organizations of Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont have formed a coalition and are looking to offer an unparalleled environment for players to build confidence, sharpen their skills, and compete at a balanced level.

The league is designed to expand the playing pool of the individual State leagues, while limiting the excessive travel of higher tier leagues. Through collaboration, it is anticipated that over the course of the season teams will play several jamboree weekends in various areas. Additionally, teams foresee playing neutral site games, supporting organizations with limited female players through flexibility, and utilizing 12u/14u combination teams to broaden opportunities.

The league exclusively features the 14U division for this upcoming season but hopes to expand in the future to include younger ages. The season runs from October through March, culminating in a parity-based end of season tournament.

The league is looking for collegiate-level girls' programs willing to host games and/or provide access to tickets for league teams to attend collegiate games. This integration will offer our players unique opportunities to experience higher levels of competition and connect with the broader female hockey community.

About the League:
Founded with the mission to grow the female hockey culture, the Tri-State Girls' T-4 Hockey League aims to provide access to comparable competition and promote continuing participation in youth hockey. We emphasize sportsmanship, leadership, and athletic development for young women across the region.

GIRLS! Maine Evolution is excited to open registration for our 2026-2027 house program.

-10U (birth years 2016 & 2017) – players will play a regular schedule as part of MEAHA, including 2 practices per week.

-12U (birth years 2014 & 2015)- players will play a regular schedule as part of MEAHA, including 2 practices per week.

-14U (birth years 2012 & 2013) – players can anticipate 2 practices per week, as well a mix of regular games and jamboree-style weekends with other Tier 4 teams from Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire.

Preseason ice will also be offered for our 10U-14U players this season, but it will not be required.

Skater Tuition: $1000 ($900 early bird price if register by 8/1).

Goalie Tuition: $500 ($450 early bird price if register by 8/1)
