Voices of WA! The WA Science Department was excited to welcome Erin Scally, CPHT, Training Director with passivhausMAINE, to campus today!

Erin shared passivhausMAINE's vision for a more resilient, energy-independent Maine - one powered by 100% renewable energy and built on sustainable practices like passive house design and net-zero construction. Students in science and apprenticeship classes explored what it takes to build energy-efficient homes and reduce carbon in the built environment.

Thank you, Erin, for inspiring our students and helping them think about the future of sustainable building in Maine!
