Relay For Life of USM

USM is launching a new event for 2016! The University is offering a brand new way to support ACS and raise awareness in our community. Kicking it to Cancer will be a kickball tournament held on Friday April, 8th from 6:00pm to 10:00pm in the Costello Field House on USM’s Gorham Campus. Teams of 8-12 people sign up for a flat rate of $100 or individuals sign up as “free agents” to be placed on teams the day of the event at a rate of $10. The 30 minute tournament-style games will culminate in a luminary lap as a time in which we will recognize survivors and their caregivers, as well as a short award ceremony. We hope you will join us for this dynamic and fun event to support the American Cancer society.

Each participant will receive an official “Kicking it to Cancer” t-shirt and opportunities to win prizes for Best Dressed Team and Team spirit award. And you won’t want to miss our sideline spectacular with food, games, bounce house and more ways to give to the American Cancer Society.

Please join the American Cancer Society and MaineGeneral Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care on July 25th as the Portland Sea Dogs take on the New Hampshire Fisher Cats at 6:00 pm to present the Colors of Cancer.

We invite you to show your support in finding a cure for cancer by wearing the color or colors that represent the type of cancer that has affected you or your loved ones.

You are invited to meet at the grandstand at Hadlock Field by 5:10 pm to take part in a pregame parade around the Warning Track as we present the Colors of Cancer. For each ticket purchased, $3.00 will go back to the American Cancer Society.
