Hand in Hand is a ministry of Russian Baptist Church of Gorham, Maine, that works with vulnerable children in Belarus and parts of Eastern Europe.

Hand in Hand is a ministry of Russian Baptist Church of Gorham, Maine. We first traveled as a group to Belarus in the early '00's, and have continued to work with vulnerable children with the help of volunteers not only from Maine, but from Belarus and parts of Eastern Europe as well. Our primary goal each June is to share the love of Jesus Christ. Secondarily, we provide clothing, toys, nutrients

Join us this May for our final dinner before our summer trip to Kazakhstan ✨

We’re getting ready to head back to Kazakhstan and would love to share one more evening together before we go.

All proceeds go toward summer camps for kids in Belarus and Kazakhstan. There will be Slavic food, fellowship, cake auctions, raffles, and merchandise. As always, it’s donation-based 🫶🏼

We’re back from our winter trip to Kazakhstan and already planning summer. Come enjoy a Russian dinner and hear about our trip.

All proceeds go toward summer camps for kids. There will be Slavic food, fellowship, cake auctions, raffles, and merchandise. As always, it’s donation-based 🫶🏼

Join us for a Russian Dinner hosted by Hand in Hand to raise funds for children and families in need in Belarus and Kazakhstan.

Enjoy delicious homemade Russian food (donation-based), raffle prizes, a homemade dessert auction featuring cakes, and exclusive merch for sale.

100% of all donations will go towards funding presents this Christmas to help spread God’s love and put a smile on a child’s face.

Thank you all for keeping us in your prayers and for supporting our mission! Our team is back from Kazakhstan, and we were also blessed to support several camps in Belarus for children in need. We’re grateful to God for the opportunity to share His love and message.

We warmly invite you to join us for the Russian Dinner on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 6:00 PM, hosted at the Russian Baptist Church in Gorham, Maine.

Enjoy an evening of Slavic cuisine, fellowship, and engaging activities, including a cake auction, raffles and opportunity to buy some merch.

All proceeds from the evening will go toward supporting summer camps for children in Belarus and Kazakhstan.

The ministry that started in Belarus continues its work to this day. Local volunteers were able to give out about 1,600 gifts across the country. They visited orphanages, foster families, children from disadvantaged families, as well as schools and nursing homes. With your support and God’s mercy, we were able to assist more than 30 different projects in Belarus 🙏🏼

We are so grateful to God for your prayers and financial support! Our team has returned from our trip to Kazakhstan, which was our first winter visit with a Christmas program and presents there. God is doing amazing things and continues to inspire us to keep spreading the gospel and fulfilling our mission 🙌🏼
