🎒🌲 Outdoor Lab is officially back in session!

Today, students from Woodrow Wilson and Bradford K-8 arrived on site, kicking off the 2026–2027 school year at Outdoor Lab! We’re excited for another year filled with learning, leadership, and adventure.

And while students are just arriving, our community has been hard at work all summer preparing for them. 💚 Volunteers spent their summer building initiatives elements, painting buildings, pulling weeds, and planting wildflowers—all to help get our sites ready for a new year of Outdoor Lab.

To every volunteer who gave their time and energy this summer: THANK YOU! Your hard work helped make today possible.

Thanks to the help of our great volunteers, the Windy Peak theater is all ready for the new school year! We started this project back in July and had to cut our project day short due to rain. Today, despite the rainy predictions, the weather held long enough to finish what we started. Thank you to all who helped!!

Today is the last day of Carnation Festival! We will be at Anderson Park In Wheat Ridge until 6 pm. We have some awesome volunteers from Golden NCL joining us today. Looking forward to connecting with the community and sharing Outdoor Lab stories!

Day 2 of Carnation Festival — today is a full day featuring a parade, live music, and great vendors in our community. Come see us at Anderson Park in Wheat Ridge! We will be here until 11 pm.
