Senior Spotlight: Yareli ✨🎓

Yareli is graduating with big dreams and an even bigger determination to achieve them!

"High school went by way faster than I expected, but JPP and Duke gave me opportunities and experiences I’ll always be grateful for. It helped me get out of my comfort zone and meet a lot of amazing people."

What’s next: After high school, she will attend CU Denver to study Biology before applying to medical school to become a neurosurgeon. 🩺💙

Advice to JPP youth: “Take every opportunity you can and don’t be afraid to try new things — you never know where it could lead you.“

Yareli shared that she is most excited to continue working toward her dream career and making an impact through medicine. Her hard work, dedication, and passion for helping others continue to inspire everyone around her.

🎓 From Head Start to High School Graduation: Celebrating the JPP Class of 2026! 🌟

There is no greater joy than watching our youth grow into confident, resilient, and determined young adults ready to take on the world.

This month, we are incredibly proud to celebrate 10 graduating high school seniors. From future neurosurgeons and lawyers to enlisting in the Marines and creative art therapists, the Class of 2026 is proof of what happens when opportunity meets perseverance.

These incredible graduates have overcome obstacles, balanced high school with working part-time, and stepped far outside their comfort zones. As our graduate Deven beautifully put it when looking back at his younger self: “You can do it!”
