At Golden Pantry & Thrift, we believe everyone deserves a place where they can feel safe, valued, respected, and celebrated for exactly who they are. Pride Month is a time to honor the LGBTQ+ community, recognize the progress that has been made, and acknowledge the ongoing work needed to create a more inclusive and accepting world for all.

The Monday after the USPS Food Drive we had a very special group of volunteers help us sort and store the remainder of the food donations.🥫

This group was part of Groundwork Denver's GRIT (Green Infrastructure Training) program, which seeks to give young adults hands-on experience in different environmentally-conscious job fields. In addition to helping us with the leftovers from the food drive, they were given a special presentation on community-focused nonprofit careers and how our food rescue program and thrift store mitigate waste and make a positive environmental impact. ♻



We are happy we were able to partner and showcase our mission in action to a group of bright young professionals. Thank you for all your help! 👍

Last week we got a special delivery to help service the folks experiencing homelessness in Golden. 🌟

Thanks to a group of kiddos at Mitchell Elementary School and The Seeds of Kindness Foundation we received some essential supplies to be distributed to those in need. 🧼🧴🧽

🙌🙌 Students who were interested in helping out the unhoused population wrote in to the foundation and were selected to complete the Seeds of Kindness Service Project. Thanks again to them!
