“Whenever two or three of you come together in my name, I am there with you.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭18‬:‭20‬ ‭CEV‬‬

He was right there with us in the Baltimore Convention Center during the Gospel Breakfast. The choir lifted every heart in worship, and Rev. Dr. Starsky Wilson delivered a powerful, spirit-filled message that inspired us all. We were also blessed by the incredible gift of Mekhi McClain, whose small but mighty voice brought the audience to its feet in joyful praise.

As the 47th Jack and Jill of America, Inc. National Convention comes to a close, our hearts are full. We are grateful for the new friendships we formed, the familiar faces we were blessed to see again, the warm embraces we didn’t know we needed, and the memories that will stay with us long after this week.

Until we meet again, may we continue to serve with purpose, lead with love, and carry the spirit of this convention back to our chapters and communities. Safe travels! Until we meet again!

Today, we had the profound honor of celebrating the beautiful lives and lasting legacies of Associate Michelle Cartagena and Father DeJuan Simmons during the National Memorial Service of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.

While our hearts continue to miss their presence, we are comforted by the memories they gave us, the lives they touched, and the love they shared so generously. Their commitment to our children, our families, and the Jack and Jill mission will continue to inspire us for years to come.

As we remembered them today, we were reminded that a life measured by service, kindness, and love leaves an imprint that time cannot erase. Though they are no longer with us physically, their legacy lives on in every child encouraged, every family strengthened, and every life made better because they were here.

May we continue to honor Michelle and DeJuan not only with our words, but by living out the values they so beautifully exemplified.

Forever remembered. Forever cherished. 💙🩷

Today, we celebrate our graduating Mothers Tamara Barnes and Hanifa Smith. These extraordinary mothers have completed their Jack and Jill journey, which has now come full circle. With the graduation of their youngest child from high school, they have reached one of the most meaningful milestones in Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated—becoming Associate Members.

While we celebrate our children’s achievements and their transition into the next chapter of life, today we also celebrate you. Your years of service, leadership, sacrifice, encouragement, and unwavering commitment to your families, your children, and our chapter have helped shape the next generation of leaders.

This moment is more than an ending—it’s the beginning of a new chapter filled with continued fellowship, service, and sisterhood.

Congratulations to our new Associates! We may be a little jealous to see you reach this well-earned milestone, but we are even more excited and incredibly proud of all you have accomplished. Today, I couldn’t be prouder to serve as President of the Greater Fredericksburg Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.

It is with tremendous joy that I announce that we are officially a Five-Star Chapter! This achievement is more than a designation—it is a reflection of our collective commitment to excellence, service, leadership, and our unwavering dedication to our children and families.

A very special congratulations goes to our outstanding Committee Chairs, Bee and EM and their committee. Your hard work, countless hours, attention to detail, and relentless pursuit of excellence made this possible. This journey began back in August, and from day one, your passion never faded. Even when the work was demanding, your fire never dimmed. You remained focused on the goal and inspired the rest of us to keep pushing forward.

To every Mother, Father, Associate, Teen, and Child who contributed along the way—this recognition belongs to all of us. Every program, every service project, every meeting, every report, and every act of dedication helped build the foundation for this accomplishment.

This Five-Star recognition is proof of what can happen when we work together with purpose and remain committed to our mission.

Congratulations, Bklyn Whiteman!

The Greater Fredericksburg Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated is proud to celebrate Bklyn Whiteman on being selected to attend the 2026 Jacqueline Moore Bowles (JMB) Teen Leadership Summit!

This invitation is reserved for teens who have demonstrated a strong commitment to the Jack and Jill Leadership Curriculum by completing at least 22 curriculum credits during the programming year. Bklyn's dedication, consistency, and desire to grow as a leader have earned him this well-deserved opportunity.

This year's summit theme, "THE POWER OF US: From Shore to Shore: Empowering Leaders and Embracing Legacy," reminds us that leadership is strengthened through collaboration, service, and a commitment to those who follow. We know Bklyn will represent our chapter with integrity, curiosity, and excellence while learning from fellow teen leaders from across the country.

One blood donation can help save multiple lives, and together, our chapter can make a lasting impact in our community. ❤️

Here's what you should know:
🩸 17-year-olds are eligible to donate!
🩸 Veterans and military personnel who were previously deferred due to Mad Cow (vCJD) restrictions may now be eligible.
🩸 We'll be sharing helpful tips on preparing to donate, the donation process, eligibility, iron levels, and more throughout the month.
🩸 Our younger attendees can join the fun with educational activity sheets designed for Grades K-5 and Grades 6-8.
🩸 Learn why blood donations are especially important for individuals living with Sickle Cell Disease and how you can help make a difference.

🎉 Plus, donor incentives will be announced with our official blood drive flyer, which will include the registration QR code!
