Salty Paws Brigade Salty Paws brigade's Mission. Save the lives of homeless cats and dogs with a focus on Seniors

Salty Paws Brigade is a small new Rescue aiming to help save homeless animals' lives, focusing on seniors. Provide a temporary home for those animals whose owner is temporarily displaced due to medical conditions, financial reasons, or military obligations. Provide necessary Veterinary care and safe and loving homes for these animals. Promote the importance of spaying/neutering and assist others with referrals to low-cost spay/neuter programs. Place these animals into their permanent adoptive homes; work, build and maintain relationships with other animal rescue groups to help homeless animals.

🚗🐾 VOLUNTEER TRANSPORTATION HELP NEEDED IN OCTOBER! 🐾🚗

We have a few upcoming appointments where we need some amazing volunteers to help get our pups where they need to go! ❤️

🦷 OCTOBER 15 — BALOO NEEDS A RIDE!

Our sweet senior guy Baloo needs transportation to and from Richmond for his dental and bloodwork appointment.

🐾 Baloo is a small, low-key senior guy who will happily just chill in your seat and enjoy the car ride!

📍 Drop-off: 8:00–8:30 AM
1217 W Leigh St, Richmond, VA 23220

📞 The veterinary team will call when he is ready for pickup. It could be as early as 1:00 PM, but pickup will be no later than 4:00 PM.

❤️ OCTOBER 16 & 17 — HEARTWORM TREATMENT RIDES

Two of our little babies need to complete the last steps of their heartworm treatments at Compassion Veterinary Center.

🐶🐶 Both are small dogs, under 15 lbs each, and will need transportation to and from their appointments.

📍 Drop-off: 9:00 AM
10693 Spotsylvania Ave, Fredericksburg, VA 22408

Pickup is typically around 2:00 PM, but the veterinary team will call to let us know when they are ready.

🚗 Can you help with one of these transportation runs?

Even if you can only help with one leg of the trip, please reach out! Every ride makes a difference and helps us get these babies the medical care they need. ❤️🐾
