UPDATE: Riverfest is postponed until next Saturday!⚠️

Due to high water levels and unsafe river conditions following this week’s rain, Bluegrass Greensource is postponing Riverfest until next weekend to ensure the safety of all participants.

We hope you’ll join us next Saturday, June 6, from 9:00 AM–2:00 PM at the Clifton Boat Ramp (15 Old Clifton Rd, Versailles, KY) for a fun, relaxing day on the river with friends and family! 🚣💧🐢

Calling all early childhood educators! 🌟

Join Bluegrass Greensource on June 29, 5:30–7:30 PM, at the Lexington Children’s Museum for a fun, hands-on professional development training on the Junior Energy Explorers STEM-based preschool curriculum!

This free TRIS-approved training will equip educators to introduce preschool learners to the basics of energy, scientific thinking, exploration, and observation through engaging classroom activities designed just for young children. Participants will receive access to BGGS-led classroom lessons and resource kits designed for young learners!

This year, we're excited to offer American Hazelnut, a multi-stem, yard-friendly tree that pollinators and wildlife will love! These small trees are perfect for urban landscapes and provide natural privacy screens thanks to their shrub form. The edible hazelnuts are a favorite treat of birds and other wildlife, so you don't have to worry about fallen debris.
