At Josephine's Place, women can shop for clothing while also participating in our employment workshops that help them build the skills they need to find and keep a job.

Today’s Journal Gazette features “The Many Faces of Homelessness,” an op-ed by our Executive Director, that explores the realities of homelessness among women and the stories behind it.

😂 Houston, we have a space problem!

Our front office is jam-packed, and with everyone in there Judy can’t take it anymore! It’s officially time for a redesign! We’re working on creating a more organized, functional space for our staff, and we need your help.

We’re looking for 2-drawer filing cabinets in good, usable condition. If you have one (or two!) you no longer need and you’d be willing to donate, we’d love to hear from you!

Help us turn this chaos into a workspace where everyone can breathe again. 😂❤️

Since opening our doors, the number of phone calls of women seeking shelter continue to rise. Over the last three months, the average number of phone calls we have received has risen to 275.

We cannot do this work alone! Please consider becoming a monthly donor to help give safe shelter to women in our community who have no place to call home. 🏠
