🌟 20 YEARS OF IMPACT — AND WE’RE JUST GETTING STARTED! 🌟

The Young Mothers of America (YMOA INC) Second Chance Housing Program and our Annual Gala & Community Impact Awards Ceremony represent something much bigger than one night of celebration.
The support generated through our gala helps provide much-needed funding for individuals and families we serve who may be experiencing unemployment, loss of income, an unexpected crisis, or another major life-changing circumstance that has left them unable to maintain their housing expenses temporarily.
Through our All Hands on Deck Community Service Initiative, eligible members experiencing significant financial hardship may have the opportunity to remain housed while contributing 25 hours per week of community service within YMOA INC.
Because we understand that nothing is truly free.
When an at-risk member of our community is struggling because life has taken an unexpected turn, we believe the Christ-like response is to support them through the difficult season while also providing opportunities for growth, responsibility, service, and restoration.
That is what this mission is about.
❤️ This is NOT a handout. It is a HAND UP.
Our goal is to pour into people during seasons when their circumstances have made it difficult for them to pour into themselves.
And through our belief that “Each One, Teach One,” members receiving support also have an opportunity to serve, learn, grow, and eventually become a source of encouragement and support for someone else.
Our Annual Gala & Community Impact Awards Ceremony helps make that mission possible while allowing us to recognize incredible people who are already making a difference throughout our community.

This year was especially meaningful because we officially kicked off our Annual Gala during YMOA INC’s 20th year of existence! 🎉
Twenty years of serving.
Twenty years of learning.
Twenty years of pouring into people.
Twenty years of believing that circumstances do not have to determine someone’s future.
And we are not finished.
