Veterans Stand Down

10/08/2026

Thank you Lance Huffman WANE 15 for taking time to interview our Executive Director and help spread awareness for veterans in our community ❤️🇺🇸

VETERANS! This event is for you! Tomorrow, veterans will have the opportunity to connect with 60 different vendors at the Grand Wayne Center. Connect with fellow veterans, explore benefits, and more!

Tomorrow from 10 A.M. to 1 P.M. Clothes for Joes will be hosting a Veteran Stand Down event, to connect veterans with many resources. It is free and walk-ins are welcome! You are asked to provide prove of military service.

Andrew Messmer, who is with me this evening for our 5 PM show, is the Executive Director of Clothes for Joes, and is an army veteran from Iraq.

We must always support veterans in our community! Thank you veterans for all that you have done!
