🌡️ Beat the Heat: Know Where to Stay Cool and Safe ❄️

As temperatures rise, it's important to know where you can go to stay cool and safe.

Designated Cooling Centers are available across multiple counties, including libraries, community centers, churches, hospitals, and other public spaces. These locations provide a safe, air-conditioned environment for residents during periods of extreme heat.

Heat-related illnesses can affect anyone, but older adults, young children, individuals experiencing homelessness, and those with chronic health conditions are especially vulnerable.

Stay safe this summer by remembering to:
💧 Stay hydrated and drink plenty of water
☀️ Limit outdoor activities during the hottest parts of the day
🏠 Check on neighbors, friends, family members, and other loved ones
❄️ Know the location of your nearest cooling center

Taking simple precautions can help prevent heat-related illnesses and keep our community safe during extreme temperatures.

Every Thursday our Fatherhood Engagement Program holds a meeting.
Where? Here at Whitington 2423 Fairfield Ave Fort Wayne, IN 46807
Time: 6:30p-7:30p and could run until 8p.
Who: It is open to any father at any stage whether it be new dads, experienced dads, or those looking to improve their parenting and relationships! We use the 24:7 Dad Curriculum.
