On October 27, 2009, the Lee County Board of Commissioners in Fort Myers, Florida, officially recognized Bishop Gaspar Anastasi and Pastor Michele Anastasi for their unwavering dedication to improving the quality of life for the citizens of Lee County.

What began in 1983 in Freeport, New York under the covering of Word of Life Church became something far greater than anyone could have imagined—New Life Dream Centers, a mission rooted in love, service, and transformation.

For decades, they have poured into countless lives—feeding the hungry, restoring hope, and revealing the love of Jesus in a tangible way. This moment is more than an award… it’s a testimony of faith in action.
