The WEP is a non-profit organization with the vision to instill a lifelong respect for all living things and the environment through our mission of education and empowerment of human kind to create change and take responsibility for the protection of our wildlife and surroundings. Our belief is that through education and inspiration, we can empower individuals, especially children who are our futu

re leaders, to take care of our planet and each other through a mutual respect of all living things. We work to educate and motivate individuals to look beyond themselves and consider others and the environment for the good of all. The WEP works to bring change through our unique educational materials and published works that can be used by any educator or leader of an interested group, school and civic organization to teach our principals. The WEP leaders are available for educational bookings to hear the harrowing story of our iconic Wildlife Ambassador, Trouper the Blind Raccoon. We also partner with other like-minded organizations, to create a synergy to advance our common goals. The inspiration behind the WEP is our four-legged friend, Trouper the Blind Raccoon, who captured the heart of wildlife rehabilitator Dorothy Lee as she fought to save his life after bring mistreated as a wild baby raccoon. Together, Trouper, who is now a federally licensed wildlife ambassador for the WEP, and Lee, his caretaker, work to ensure the future of our wildlife is preserved. WEP’s vision is to encourage the Respect of All Living Things. This includes every living and breathing part of our community and our world. We can no longer take for granted the beauty that surrounds us. We must respect it and protect it to preserve our future in it. Educate Future Leaders
