Through the FGCU Mentoring Program, alumni mentors connect one-on-one with students to share their experiences, offer career guidance and help them navigate their journey from college to career.

You don’t need to have all the answers. Your experience, perspective and willingness to listen could be exactly what a student needs.

Last Thursday, FGCU alumni gathered for our first-ever Lunch Bunch at alumni-owned Lombardough’s Pizza & Beer. Coach Raina Harmon shared her vision for the upcoming season and connected with alumni as we enjoyed an afternoon of conversation, community and Eagle pride. 🦅

Dillon Rosenthal, a 2026 FGCU entrepreneurship graduate and founder of BounceBack Pickle, is currently competing in the UK for the chance to win $1 million.

Through BounceBack Pickle, Dillon is turning trash into treasure by collecting old and damaged pickleballs and recycling them into good-as-new ones, literally giving them their bounce back. 🏓♻️

Now, he’s taking his innovative business and entrepreneurial spirit to an international stage, and the competition is happening RIGHT NOW!

Eagles Making Waves! 🦅🚤

Today’s features brothers Travis Fricke ’07 and Justin Fricke ’09, Southwest Florida natives and FGCU graduates who help lead Fish Tale Boats.

The Fricke family has owned Fish Tale Boats since 1996, growing the business into a family-owned marine dealership with three Southwest Florida locations in Fort Myers, Naples and Bonita Springs.

Now celebrating 30 years, Fish Tale Boats continues to serve boating families across Southwest Florida while earning recognition as one of the region’s leading boat dealerships.

We’re proud to see these two Eagles continuing their family’s legacy and making waves in the Southwest Florida community! 💙💚🦅

From FGCU to Florence! 🌍

We’re so proud of FGCU alumna and soon-to-be Double Eagle Kaia Geissinger, who presented her research, The Relationship Between Climate Optimism and Environmental Concern, at the International Congress of Applied Psychology (ICAP 2026) in Florence, Italy! 🇮🇹

Kaia graduated from FGCU in 2024 with a B.A. in Psychology and is now a third-year student in our Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate program. Her passion for ecotherapy inspired her to explore the connection between environmental issues and mental health.

We love seeing our Eagles continue to grow, pursue their passions and make an impact around the world.

Congratulations, Kaia and Dr. Melody Labriola, on representing FGCU on the international stage! 💙
