What a way to end the month❤️

This weekend, during Clear the Shelters, we waived all adoption fees, and from Friday through Sunday, 65 pets found their new homes!

Thank you to every person and family who opened their hearts and chose adoption this weekend. And thank you to our incredible community for continuing to show up for the pets who need you most.

We couldn’t think of a better way to close out August and start a brand new week. Here’s to all the happy new beginnings! 🐾

Bring the whole family and your pups to Gulf Coast Humane Society on Saturday, August 29 from 11 AM to 2 PM for an afternoon of back-to-school fun!

We’ll have swag bags, a photo booth with photos by Real Tours, local vendors, food trucks, FREE nail trims for your pups by Furry Land, and the South Trail Fire District with their fire truck! 🚒

Join us Sunday, August 23rd at 11 AM at Gulf Coast Humane Society for our monthly yoga experience where every stretch, breath, and pose helps provide love and care for animals in need ❤️

Bring your yoga mat, a water bottle, and an open heart. Every registration helps provide shelter, medical care, and hope for animals in our care.

Yesterday, two animals arrived at GCHS after both were hit by cars 💔

Talia, a sweet pup, came in with a broken leg, while little Gator, a kitten, suffered a broken jaw. Both are now getting the care they need as they begin their road to recovery.

There’s one thing we couldn’t ignore: Talia and Gator look exactly like the unlikely duo from Pixar’s Kitbull.

Their stories may have started with something heartbreaking, but this real-life Kitbull duo is now on the road to healing with a whole lot of love ahead ❤️
