This Giving Tuesday, we’re celebrating the incredible students who inspire the work of the Viles & Beckman Foundation and we hope you will too!

Since 2023, we’ve honored local young leaders through the Marcus W. Viles Community Growth Scholarship, grown our Back2School Backpack Event, helped families with Christmas meals through our partnership with Project Access, sponsored creative writers, future leaders, and even once-in-a-lifetime student opportunities across the country.

As we look ahead to 2026, we’re excited to announce the plans to expand our mission with new summer camps for children in Southwest Florida! These will open doors to entrepreneurship, leadership, and law, giving kids real tools to dream boldly and build stronger communities from the inside out.

🎓 Meet the 2025 Marcus W. Viles Community Growth Scholarship Winner. 💚

This year, more than 2,200 students from across the country opened their hearts to us. Their stories of perseverance, service, and compassion reminded us why Marcus Viles dedicated his life to helping others.

Congratulations to Claudia Masmitja Corujo, University of Florida Class of 2027. Her journey reflects everything Marcus believed in. Lifting others up, finding strength in community, and creating lasting change through kindness.

Through the Viles and Beckman Foundation, we are honored to continue his legacy by supporting students like Claudia, who remind us that one person’s light can inspire an entire community. 💚

💚 From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU for making the 2025 Back2School Backpack Drive a huge success!

Your support enabled us to put 500 backpacks into the hands of local kids, turning school supplies into opportunity!
✨ 360 given to over 215 families on event day
✨ 140 delivered to shelters and churches, reaching students facing homelessness and families in need

But it wasn’t just about backpacks. It was a celebration of community!
🌭 300+ hot dogs cooked with love by our V&B team
🍧 Kona Ice kept everyone cool and smiling
🎶 105.5 The Beat brought the music and energy
🎨 Kids filled the day with chalk art, laughter, and joy
