Keep Lee County Beautiful At Keep Lee County Beautiful (KLCB), we want to ensure that beauty is our lasting signature.

Keep Lee County Beautiful has served as a public/private partnership since 1989 and is a 501c3, not for profit environmental education organization comprised of volunteer community leaders who donate their time talent and resources to promote litter abatement, recycling , beautification, and proper cost effective solid waste management practices to provide a pathway to a cleaner environment in the

community at large. We have, since 1989, proudly undertaken a mission that has evolved with changing times. Today, we encompass litter prevention, beautification and community improvement as well as waste stream reductions through diverse programs, volunteers, education initiatives, innovative tools and creative solutions. However, the ideal of keeping Lee County beautiful is something much more, it is a personal commitment to choices and actions that preserve natural beauty, protect the environment, prevent blight, improve public lands and make our community a better, safer and cleaner place to live.

Join Lee County Solid Waste on Friday, June 12, at the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels ⚾game for a special battery collection event!

🔋Drop off your lithium or rechargeable batteries at the Household Chemical Waste (HCW) mobile collection truck, located in front of the stadium.
🎟️ In return, you'll receive a FREE pair (2) of Mighty Mussels ticket vouchers to use at a future 2026 home game of your choice. (*while supplies last).
✅ Don't forget to stop by our table located in the breezeway to grab some cool swag and learn more about recycling and how you can make a difference.
♻️ NEVER discard lithium batteries in the recycle cart or trash. If they become crushed or punctured, they can spark a fire and cause serious injury.

🌟 Partner Spotlight Series 🌟Behind every cleanup, beautification project, and environmental initiative is a community of incredible supporters who help make it all possible.

Over the coming weeks, we'll be highlighting some of our valued partners and sponsors through a series of short video interviews. Hear firsthand why they choose to support our mission and why it matters to them.

We’re kicking off the series with Ben from Tunaskin Aquatic Apparel, a longtime supporter of KLCB. Thank you for your continued commitment to our community!
