We are so grateful for our Friends at the Naples Woman's Club!

We’re honored to have recently received a $30,000 grant from the Club to support our work with children throughout Collier County. This generous funding will help us respond when a child needs essentials, resources or support, while also creating opportunities for joy, connection and positive childhood memories.

For more than 90 years, the Naples Woman’s Club has invested in this community, and we are so honored to be part of that legacy.

Thank you to all of our Friends at the Naples Woman’s Club for believing in the kids we serve and helping us make sure trauma does not get the final say. ❤️ •

It’s , one of our favorite days of the week when we celebrate some of the Friends who make our mission possible!

This week, Melissa and her team at Thrivent, along with Pat from Hilton Garden Inn-Fort Myers, hosted a night at the ballpark with the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels in honor of A.N.A.’s Friends — and we’re so grateful for the love they showed our mission.

They brought together staff, friends and fellow community partners, giving us the opportunity to share more about the children and families we serve across Southwest Florida. They’re also collecting much-needed items for our Comfort Closet, helping us keep everyday essentials ready when a child needs them most.

We’re so lucky, and so thankful, to have friends like them in our corner! 💙•

Mondays are a little sweeter at Take Two Coffee! ☕🍩

Every Monday, Take Two donates 10% of all sales to United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades — plus 100% of proceeds from their United Way Lemon Crunch Berry Donut.

As a proud United Way partner agency, we're incredibly grateful for local businesses that choose to give back. Support like this reaches organizations throughout our community and helps us continue saying “yes” to children who need us.

So grab a coffee, add the donut (obviously 😉), and know your Monday treat is helping make a difference. •

UNITED IS THE WAY! ❤️💛💙

Our friends at the United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades reached their annual campaign goal, a testament to the incredible things that can happen when a community comes together.

We are proud to be one of the many partner agencies, donors, volunteers, businesses, and friends who helped make this campaign a success. Because that’s what United Way is all about: none of us doing this work alone.

We show up for one another. We champion each other’s missions. We rally our community. And together, we make Southwest Florida stronger.

They did it. We did it. Our COMMUNITY did it. And we’re all stronger because we did it together.

Through the generosity of donors, businesses, foundations, partner agencies and community supporters, United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades has successfully reached its annual campaign goal, ensuring funding for critical programs and services that serve thousands of individuals and families. A favorite childhood memory.

A moment of normalcy.

The feeling when a Friend shows up.

That’s the work. 💜

On , we’re proud to be a nonprofit powered by Friends—donors, volunteers, partners, and supporters who believe, like we do, that trauma doesn’t get the final say for vulnerable youth in Southwest Florida. We're so thankful to so many who make our mission possible! •

✨IT'S MISSION MAKER MONDAY✨

Today’s Mission Makers may be some of our youngest yet, but their hearts are HUGE. ❤️

Meet Daryla and Locklyn, the incredible girls behind Kidz Care 4 Kidz , a youth-led organization built around a pretty amazing idea: kids helping kids.

These young Friends put their creativity to work, making and selling friendship bracelets and beaded pens, and then chose to donate $500 of their proceeds to A.N.A.’s Friends to help children and teens in foster care right here in Southwest Florida.

“We want to help people as much as we can,” shared Kidz Care 4 Kidz founder Darya Haija. “I want them to feel happy and know that I helped them.”

That’s what being a Mission Maker, and a Friend, is all about. You don’t have to be an adult. You don’t need a huge fundraiser or a fancy plan. You just need to see an opportunity to make someone else’s life a little brighter and decide to do something about it.

A very special thank you to Florida Weekly for helping us share their story, and their impact. •

When we say we’re grateful for our Friends at Sanibel Captiva Community Bank, we mean it. ❤️

Their team is a familiar sight at our Back to School Bash, showing up year after year and jumping in wherever they’re needed. And that partnership extends far beyond this one day. We’re proud to bank with Sanibel Captiva Community Bank, an organization that doesn’t just know our mission...they believe in it and show up for it.

There’s something pretty special about doing business with people who care so deeply about the same community we do. We’re grateful for their continued partnership and even prouder to call them Friends. ❤️

As we celebrate first days of school across Southwest Florida this week, we couldn’t think of a better time to look back at all the fun we had at our Back to School Bash...take a look! ❤️📚✏️

Nearly 400 kids joined us for bowling, arcade games, food, LOTS of cheering, and as many shared with us, the “BEST DAY EVER!”

Children in foster care left the Bash with gift cards to Old Navy and Staples to shop for their own new school clothes and supplies. For kids who have so much of their lives decided for them, those gift cards offered something incredibly important: choice. They could choose what matched their style, what felt like them, and what they were excited to wear and carry into their classrooms. We believe every child deserves to start the school year with what they need, and the dignity of having a say in what that looks like.

This incredible day is only possible thanks to the unwavering generosity of the Shadow Wood Charitable Foundation. We are so grateful for their continued support of the kids we serve!

Here’s to a great school year! 📚✏️•
