We love our Friends at the Lee County Bar - Young Lawyers Division!

Their hygiene drive is going to make such a difference for the children we serve. Things like shampoo, soap, deodorant, toothpaste and a hairbrush are everyday basics, but for the children we serve, having those things can bring a little comfort, dignity and normalcy.

We’re so thankful to Lee County Bar - Young Lawyers Division for seeing a need and stepping up to help fill it. This is exactly what being a Friend is all about. ❤️

And a special thank you to another longtime Friend of our mission, CopyLady, Inc., for opening their doors as a collection site and helping make this drive possible!•

Friends of the LCBA, Young and Vintage...The YLD is collecting items for youth hygiene kits to help supply ANA's Friends comfort closet for the youth in their programs.
If you are compelled to help, we are accepting donations at the LCBA HQ and at CopyLady, Inc. all items must be brand new and sealed.
ALL items welcome, but to help with what they need please see the listing below. We are collecting until October 31st, but they are ALWAYS collecting!

All aboard for some Halloween fun! 🎃 🚂

To celebrate spooky season, we are providing tickets to the Halloween Express at Lakes Regional Park through our Heartfelt Hangouts Program! With (family-friendly) ghosts, witches, and the famous Tunnel of Dancing Lights, it’s a fun way for children and families to make a little spooky-season magic together!

The Halloween Express runs from October 9th through the 31st and tickets can be used during any operating time that works for the family. This opportunity is open to children with active dependency cases, and those who have reached permanency, along with their caregivers and other children in the home.

We were incredibly proud to stand alongside the National Child Protection Task Force during their Missing Child Rescue Operation here in Southwest Florida earlier this year.

Being invited to take part in this work alongside law enforcement, investigators, advocates, social workers, child welfare professionals, colleagues, and both local and national partners was such an honor.

At A.N.A.’s Friends, we know that finding a child is only part of the story. During this operation, our role was to show up with compassion, support, and an understanding of what children may need in those first critical moments, and continue that work after the operation ends.

We are so grateful to NCPTF for trusting us to be part of this effort in our own community, and proud to have stood alongside so many partners committed to protecting vulnerable children. Most of all, we are proud to continue showing up for vulnerable children across Southwest Florida every single day.

We are so grateful for our Friends at the Naples Woman's Club!

We’re honored to have recently received a $30,000 grant from the Club to support our work with children throughout Collier County. This generous funding will help us respond when a child needs essentials, resources or support, while also creating opportunities for joy, connection and positive childhood memories.

For more than 90 years, the Naples Woman’s Club has invested in this community, and we are so honored to be part of that legacy.

It’s , one of our favorite days of the week when we celebrate some of the Friends who make our mission possible!

This week, Melissa and her team at Thrivent, along with Pat from Hilton Garden Inn-Fort Myers, hosted a night at the ballpark with the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels in honor of A.N.A.’s Friends — and we’re so grateful for the love they showed our mission.

They brought together staff, friends and fellow community partners, giving us the opportunity to share more about the children and families we serve across Southwest Florida. They’re also collecting much-needed items for our Comfort Closet, helping us keep everyday essentials ready when a child needs them most.

We’re so lucky, and so thankful, to have friends like them in our corner! 💙•

🎉🌴 Charlotte Harbor Parrot Head Club 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟮𝟬 — and they’re throwing one heck of a birthday party! 🦜🎶

We are SO excited (and incredibly grateful!) that we have been selected as the beneficiary of the 𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗕𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆, happening April 8–11, 2027 at Four Points by Sheraton Punta Gorda Harborside!

Our friends at the United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades reached their annual campaign goal, a testament to the incredible things that can happen when a community comes together.

We are proud to be one of the many partner agencies, donors, volunteers, businesses, and friends who helped make this campaign a success. Because that’s what United Way is all about: none of us doing this work alone.

We show up for one another. We champion each other’s missions. We rally our community. And together, we make Southwest Florida stronger.

They did it. We did it. Our COMMUNITY did it. And we’re all stronger because we did it together.

We’re excited to invite the children and families we serve to join us for an afternoon of Florida SouthWestern Volleyball as the Bucs take on Miami Dade!

Thanks to our friends at Florida SouthWestern State College, we have complimentary tickets available for families to enjoy the game together!

This event is open to ALL of our families — whether your dependency case is currently active or has already closed through reunification, adoption or permanent guardianship.
