109th Precinct Community Council

109th Precinct Community Council The 109th Precinct Community Council is a non-partisan group that meets with police officials to exchange mutual views and seek ways to solve local problems.

Our goal is to create and foster a strong community police partnership. Meetings: Community Council Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month, except July and August.

Well we had some council bbq on June 10th. So many people came to have a hotdog and hamburger with their neighbors, council and of course the 109 officers. Just want to say thank you to all the board members who worked so hard to make it a successful event. Counclmember Sandra Ung pressed the 109 board with a certificate to recognize everyone’s dedication to the community. Council member Vicky paladino sponsor the cop of the month and sky view parc homeowners sponsor the bbq.

Great meeting last night at st Michael’s church. Deputy inspector Chowdhury recognized 2 officers for saving a person life. Thank you senator Liu for being the sponsor of our cop of the month. QA Melinda Katz gave an update on some recent headline cases that happened in queens as well as how her office can protect you from scams and squatters. Council member Ung updated us a bill she introduced to help combat the cars with those large speakers.

Last night, a vigilant neighbor reported a suspicious vehicle at a local business in Flushing. Officer Donnelly & other officers arrived quickly & apprehended two perps mid-burglary. Huge thanks to our officers for keeping the community safe! 🚔
