109th Precinct Community Council The 109th Precinct Community Council is a non-partisan group that meets with police officials to exchange mutual views and seek ways to solve local problems.

Our goal is to create and foster a strong community police partnership. Meetings: Community Council Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month, except July and August.

Saturday we joined the College Point Halloween Parade committee to host its second annual back to school event. Thank you to st Fidel’s church for allowing us to host this event.
Thanks to the 109 officers and especially the #109 auxiliary for helping to make this event a success. Not did they get a back pack and school supplies, they all got to enjoy Nona pizza and a surprise appearance by cido the clown.

Have you seen 8-year-old Avery DeJesus? He was last seen today at 12:30 p.m. leaving his residence at 521 Van Siclen Avenue. He is 4'11" and 103 lbs.

Avery was wearing a white T-shirt, black shorts, and black sneakers.

Today, alongside our federal, state, and city partners announced that more than 3,000 guns have been seized so far in 2026.
