Want to help keep Myrtle Avenue green, shaded, and thriving? The Myrtle Avenue Brooklyn Partnership is sponsoring up to 5 local community members to become certified Citizen Pruners.

How It Works:

Apply: Fill out our brief interest - link in bio

Get Approved: We’ll select 5 candidates and send over the sponsorship agreement.

Get Certified & Reimbursed: Register for the official Trees New York Citizen Pruner Course on September 30. Once the course is completed, send us your receipt and certificate for a full $100 reimbursement!

Volunteer Commitment: Sponsored pruners commit to volunteering time to prune trees within the Myrtle Avenue Brooklyn Partnership district.

For seven days, 10 bars + restaurants across Fort Greene & Clinton Hill are putting their own spin on one of the world’s most iconic cocktails – and this year, they’re definitely not playing by the traditional rules.

Think smoky poblano-infused mezcal 🌶️, cherry liqueur 🍒, coffee ☕, chocolate 🍫, rhubarb, orgeat…and even tomato, basil + olive oil.
