Jambassadors Awards Jambassadors is a non-political effort, to highlight what "Likkle" or "Big Tings", Jamaicans in Diaspora do to support Family, Friends or Groups back home.

WE ARE ALL JAMBASSADORS - In light of Reggae artist Shaggy's comment on the reluctance of Jamaicans in the Diaspora (aka Livin' in foreign), to support organizations or efforts in Jamaica, and Tessanne Chin's rise on "The Voice"- fueled by the efforts of Jamaicans and other Caribbean nationalities residing in the US, Jambassadors was created to highlight what "Likkle" or "Big Tings" Jamaicans or Friends of Jamaica is doing to support Family, Friends or Groups back home. We will be honoring and awarding 9 distinguished Jamaicans in the US for their contributions to their industry and representation of the culture.

Portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Sickle Cell Trust Inc. to help patients and providers affected by Sickle Cell.

Jamaica has lost another Jambassador.

*Dervan Malcolm* was truly a Jambassador, connecting Jamaicans at home with Jamaicans abroad through his weekly radio program, “Both Sides.”

His voice informed us, connected us, and kept Jamaica close, no matter where we lived.
