Gotham City Wrestling was conceived to fill a void and help build a wrestling community in New York City. The site wants to otherwise create the momentum for community building among amateur wrestlers in the Greater New York City Metropolitan Area. We cover Youth, High School, College and International divisions, without distinguishing between PSAL and Catholic, public and private. Our goal is to

give amateur wrestlers in the city the publicity that they deserve. Through networking and media coverage, we want to promote NYC wrestlers and help them in developing their athletic, academic and professional careers. Our tasks include, for example, informing high school student-athletes about collegiate wrestling opportunities in NYC and tracking their subsequent accomplishments in college. Seeing them succeed in all aspects of their lives will mean our purpose fulfilled. While we do our best to reach out to coaches, athletes, supporters and officials for information, we highly encourage second and third parties to contribute input. If you have any information regarding NYC wrestling that you think should be shared with the community, please do not hesitate to contact us. We welcome press releases, photos and videos from regional competitions, as well as any information about outstanding accomplishments of NYC grapplers on and off the mat. Gotham City is not merely interested in wrestling, but also all that which the sport entails.

Seems like yesterday when I first met Xavier and he was at Eagle (). Iā€™m watching the Iowa vs Princeton Dual and I see that he is the stater as a Freshaman. This should be an inspiration to all the young athletes from NYC! This sport can take you far, but you have be dedicated and willing to put in the work to be successful. Proud Moment šŸ’Æ and Respect to .x !
