As AANHPI Heritage Month comes to a close, we’re reflecting on a month of culture, connection, and community. 💛
Swipe to relive the memories! ➡️

This May, Glow Cultural Center proudly celebrated AANHPI Heritage Month through three meaningful events:

🎵 Our 6th Annual Love & Unity Resource Fair & Concert brought together community organizations, artists, and residents to celebrate culture while connecting AAPI and immigrant communities with valuable resources. A special highlight was the New York debut of the Joy Luck Trio, whose moving performance explored stories of music, migration, identity, and the pursuit of the American dream.

🏖️ At the North Hempstead Annual Asian Cultural Festival, Glow returned as the Chinese cultural partner, sharing traditional crafts, cultural activities, and performances with families from across Long Island.

👠 HERitage Runway brought generations together through fashion, storytelling, and cultural expression. Featuring traditional attire, modern fashion, and heritage-inspired designs, this inaugural intergenerational experience celebrated identity, creativity, and the beauty of culture across generations.

Thank you to our artists, performers, volunteers, partners, and community members for making these celebrations possible.

A celebration of heritage. A celebration of community ✨
