🚩🚩🚩 DONATIONS NEEDED! 🚩🚩🚩

When animals are surrendered, it’s always helpful to have medical history. We understand sometimes vet care can be expensive, or problems are overlooked, however, undisclosed issues can put us in quite a bind.

Chance was surrendered yesterday. His mom is moving across the country to care for her critically ill son, so, there was no way for Chance to join her. As Chance was being handed off to a volunteer, his mom shared she “just noticed” he was peeing blood. Of course, we got him medical attention at Canyon Pet Hospital right away. Poor Chance is miserable with bladder stones & is now in intensive care. His estimate is over $1500

Please help us help him!
No donation is too small 💜

💜 Welcome to Mountain Girl Rescue, Sirius! 💜
Who’s looking for the cutest adventure buddy?
Sirius is the best dude! He’s about 9 months old, around 20lbs, up to date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped. Great with other dogs, respectful of cats & gentle around kids. Easy on the leash, crate trained, food motivated and eager to please. Seriously.. this guy is pretty perfect! Send us an email to meet this cutie pie! [email protected]

💕 PUPDATE!! FOSTER ON THE WAY!! 💕

We have serious concerns about this sweet girl’s health.. she is extremely lethargic, hasn’t had a bowel movement since found & has recently had a litter of pups.. stay tuned for updates! 🤞🏼

‼️‼️‼️ IMMEDIATE HELP NEEDED ‼️‼️‼️
🤬 USED TO BREED, THEN THROWN OUT 🤬
Another dumped dog, desperate for love 💔
We are all volunteers & do not have a facility to intake this sweet girl, so, we aren’t able to help unless someone steps up to foster or adopt. Please EMAIL if you can assist! [email protected]

PLEASE do not ask if she is housebroken, good with cats, etc.. we have no clue. We haven’t met her, just trying to get her safe so we can evaluate, then we will know her needs & be able to responsibly place her

💔💔💔 HEARTS. ARE. BREAKING. 💔💔💔
Xena & Dusty were living their best lives with their amazing adopter, B. He had managed their crazy escapes, was patient with their “landscaping” and went above and beyond to help them recover from the trauma of life as a stray on the rez. Then, the nightmare.. B’s home, a rental, was being sold.. he had 30 days to vacate. B used all of his connections to find a place that would allow dogs, but, when he finally found a place, the yard was the size of a postage stamp. B just couldn’t do that to Dusty & Xena, so, he reached out to us & broke his own heart.

Sometimes, the road of life gets rocky, and we never want animals we have rescued to fall through the cracks. We will NEVER turn away animals adopted through our rescue, and we never judge circumstances.. When life is hard, we all need a hand up, not to be put down.

Xena & Dusty are AMAZING! They are both great with other dogs, friendly with cats and LOVE kids! They are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines & microchipped.. crate trained, house broken & lovely on the leash. Please reach out if you’re able to help with with of these super sweet doggos.. fosters welcome! Adopters appreciated! [email protected]

Xena & Dusty would love a home together, but, we recognize this is a big ask. They are both wonderful with other dogs, so we trust that they could make a new ♥️

🩷CUTIE PATOOTIE READY FOR HER BESTIE🩷
Lovely Miss Luna was found after she was dumped on a deserted high desert dirt road. Thankfully, a Good Samaritan spotted her and picked her up.. she wouldn’t have lasted very long with no food, water or shelter and plenty of hungry coyotes prowling. Her fabulous foster has gotten her healthy & has been working on potty training & Luna is doing great! She’s suuuuuper smart & eager to please.. super trainable! Luna will do best in a home with another dog to help her burn puppy energy & learn appropriate play behavior. Please send us an email to meet this special snuggle muffin!

100+ REASONS WE HATE BACKYARD BREEDING!!
Our friends at Pima Animal Care Center confiscated more than 100 animals from a residence southwest of Tucson where they spent their lives inside small wire crates with minimal access to food and water.

Officers from PACC’s Animal Protection Services division seized dozens of small breeds, like pugs and yorkies, along with a few larger livestock-guardian breeds, three cats, and one Patagonian mara, a rabbit-like rodent native to Argentina. The owners surrendered the animals, so they will be available for adoption as soon as they have been medically cleared by PACC’s clinical staff.

If you are able to help, either by fostering or adopting, please send us an email with a good phone number to reach you.. [email protected]
