Culture Connection AZ invites performers of all backgrounds to take the stage at Culture Con 2026, a one-day celebration of culture, creativity, and community in Flagstaff.
We’re seeking artists and performers who share stories, traditions, and creative expression rooted in cultures both local and from around the world. Whether through music, dance, spoken word, theater, or interdisciplinary performance, we welcome acts that reflect the richness and diversity of our community.

🎟 Free and open to the public
We’re looking for:
Cultural dance and music performances
Spoken word, poetry, and storytelling
Theater and performance art
Fusion or contemporary interpretations of cultural traditions
Interactive or participatory performances
Performance Guidelines:
Performances should showcase and celebrate culture or cultural diversity in alignment with the mission and spirit of Culture Con.
Full sets should be approximately 40-60 minutes.
Tweener sets should be approximately 10–20 minutes.
Performances should be appropriate for a general audience.
Both emerging and established artists are encouraged to apply.

Where you can add additional information, please include:
1. Name of band or performer
2. Description of your performance (including cultural background or inspiration, if applicable)
3. Technical needs (sound, space, etc.)
4. Your standard performance fee, and whether you would be willing to volunteer your time or offer a nonprofit discount.
Deadline to apply: May 22, 2026
Selected performers will be notified by May 28, 2026. Stipends available.
