INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER for PEACE: September 21, 2026
WE PRAY FOR RESPECT

Come, join us this evening, Monday, September 21st at 6:00 p.m. as we gather for a special time of worship and prayer for peace. Prayer is basically a conversation with God - both speaking to Him and hearing from Him. He seeks to be part of all aspects of our lives - our joys and challenges. He desires to have a deep relationship with us. His love is unconditional and forever. He is all powerful. Let us bring our needs and thanksgiving to God who is always present and waiting to engage in conversation with us. He sent His son as a role model - loving and respecting all people.
Let us learn from Christ Jesus.

Diaper Drive 2026 is in the books. This load of 3800 wipes and 3942 diapers is a small portion of the collection! We've been blessed with over $1500 in cash donations to purchase many, many more. Thank you!

Due to concerns about the air quality, both worship services ( 8am and 9:30 am) will be indoors on 7/19. We will look at rescheduling the Blessing of the Animals.

A LEGACY OF LOVE

Next time your family visits our community playground, take a moment to view the beautiful rock sculpture located near the play area.

Dedicated in 2018, this piece was crafted by longtime church member and artist, Jeff Olson, to honor Fred Weber, whose generous donation funded the construction of our playground years ago. The sculpture bears a heartwarming and permanent reminder of this vision:

"He Loved the Children."

A special thank you goes out to Jeff Olson for crafting this meaningful piece of art.

Our playground is open spring through fall, and all are welcome! We encourage everyone in the community to bring their children to enjoy this wonderful space. Next time you visit us at 4167 Juddville Road in Fish Creek, take a moment to look for the sculpture and celebrate Fred's legacy.

Celebrating the Birthday of the of the Church!

This coming Sunday, May 24th is the Day of Pentecost, which occurs 50 days after the resurrection of Christ. Pentecost signifies the coming of the promised Holy Spirit to the disciples. On the first Pentecost, the Holy Spirit came down like tongues of flames, settling on the first apostles and allowing them to preach in different languages so everyone could understand God’s message. Because this day marks the beginning of public ministry for the disciples, Pentecost is often referred to as the birthday of the church.

Wear Red This Sunday!
It is customary to wear red on Pentecost to signify the gift of the Holy Spirit coming down to us. We invite everyone to come to worship this Sunday wearing red to symbolize the Holy Spirit being alive and with us.

Summer Worship Schedule Begins May 24! Starting this Sunday, May 24 (Day of Pentecost), we return to our summer schedule with TWO worship times: 8:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Both services will be available in the sanctuary and out in the parking lot. We look forward to worshipping with you!

Imelda is an amazing human! St Paul Lutheran has supported Imelda’s Hope as a part of our local benevolence ministry.

At 73 years old, Imelda Delchambre has been working for DCMC for 29 years. Her job is to reach out to people in our community struggling with poverty and language barriers that prevent them from getting the care they need and making sure they get it. Her interventions have saved countless lives.

While her work with DCMC accounts for over a third of her life and accomplishments, her story begins much earlier.
