As Mother’s Day approaches, many of us find ourselves thinking about women who shaped our lives…the mothers, grandmothers, caregivers and mentors whose resilience, love and nurturing stay with us no matter how many years pass.
Supporting not only women but everyone as they age remains at the heart of our mission: Dedicated to building a dynamic, collaborative community which will enhance, enrich and respect the aging experience in Door County.
During this third year of building our programs, your difference-making commitment and generosity can help us keep growing!
Give Now: With a donation of any amount, you can help older adults continue living safely in their homes, stay healthy and active, and remain connected in their communities.
Volunteer: Gifts of time are meaningful, too! Join our board or advisory council to help strengthen and advance our work. Get involved with one of our program work groups and ask a family member or friend to join you. Contact us at 920-659-5159 or [email protected] to learn about opportunities that match your interests and fit with your schedule.
As the season changes and the flowers bloom, it is a reminder that aging is a privilege, and the wisdom and determination of women who guided us continues to have an impact. Wherever you find yourself this year, here are my reflections that I hope help you think of ways to celebrate aging and Mother’s Day.
Wishing you connection with those who matter most and appreciation for the generations of women who helped shape our lives.
With gratitude,
Cynthia Germain
