Fall Clean Up Sale Begins Today!

Come out to Peninsula State Park and visit our gift shops (located in the main park office and the White Cedar Nature Center) for our end of the season apparel clearance. All hoodies plus short sleeve and long sleeve tees are now 50% off. Get your PSP on today. These won’t last long!

Historical Traces Trek
Thursday, October 22 at 3:30pm
Meet at the White Cedar Nature Center

Join Dave Lea, who has been exploring the park since the 1970’s, on an exciting, off-trail adventure finding the park’s historic sites. Wear sturdy boots and long pants to discover traces of the past.

What a beautiful time of the year to be in the park. The colors are peak, the views are breathtaking, the weather is superb and the crowds have thinned out a bit.

But just a reminder that next Saturday, October 24th the Fall 50 runners and chase vehicles will be going through the park. There is a rest stop for runners at the beach. Although the park is open to the public it is best to wait until after 12:30pm. The runners and chase vehicles should be cleared out.

If you decide to visit us during the run PLEASE LOOK OUT AND SLOW DOWN FOR RUNNERS.

Our White Cedar Nature Center is a hub of activity, even this time of year. Russ and Chris volunteer their time to make your visit memorable. Please thank them for being there for you and for all the other things they do to keep our facility clean and inviting.

They are two of the many dedicated people that volunteer in our beautiful park. Come on by and say hello!

The Town of Gibraltar has received a multi-million-dollar grant for proposed trail connecting Fish Creek and Ephraim.

Peninsula State Park is funded through user fees, our generous donors and grants. The Friends of PSP are the conduit for fund raising for the Park. Because of our financial supporters, the dedicated volunteers of the Friends of Peninsula State Park were able to provide over $826,000 toward park improvements, (like the 21 miles of mountain bike trails), upgrades, (like the gathering area at Highland Trailhead), amenities, (like fire rings and picnic tables) and maintenance equipment (like snow mobiles and stump grinders), from September 2025 through August 2026. We would love for you to join our Friends group.
