Who can resist that smile? This little doggy is just waiting to be drawn on!!!  We have so many cute stuffed animals that you can design yourself  🐶 we’ve also got great stuff on the floor like a weaving loom, beads & accessories, art kits, colorful funky yarn, Native American pottery, beautiful vintage iron on embroidery patterns, and our totally reorganized craft section 🤠 we’ll be here all weekend! We’ve got SO many bead kits of all different colors, tons and tons of scrapbook paper packs & supplies, crochet hooks, BIG spools of ribbon, really cool international folkwear sewing patterns, handmade pottery pieces, new watercolor sets, woodblock stamp packs,  and sleeves of photo slides! This has been our biggest donation period EVER! We’ve taken in over 4500 lbs of supplies for you guys this month 🤩 come and get them! We have so much yarn & fiber arts books, camera parts, really cool big framed art for your walls, crochet hooks (for once!), tons and TONS of vintage postcards & maps & National Geographic magazines, paper pads, really nice wooden boxes & soft pastel sets, and a completely stocked up and reorganized book section 🤓 we’re closed Friday for the general strike but would love to see you this weekend 🥳 come say hi!

Howdy friends! Just stopping by to say we are definitely STILL OPEN  for business at 1245 Hartrey Ave!! We have so much cool unique and interesting things on the floor right now for you — we’ve got so many sewing supplies & sewing kits, two film projectors, fun sports cards for all the collectors out there, spray paint, large acrylic paints, a sticker making machine, lots of mosaic supplies, cassette tapes, wicker baskets, and a full stock of our special mystery eggs 💝 a little bit of everything! Join us for our Shed Talk on April 23rd at 6pm. We're hosting a meetup at the WasteShed Evanston for folks to learn more about the WasteShed's upcoming move, ask questions, and gather together for some crafts, snacks, and celebrating what's to come for the WasteShed's northern outpost. The WasteShed will provide food and drinks, craft supplies, and positive moving energy! There may even be an appearance from Dust Bunny, our loveable (dusty) moving mascot

The WasteShed Evanston is on the move! Our northside location needs a new home, and we need your help!

Since the collapse of our partner organization, Rebuilding Exchange, in October of 2025, it has become increasingly clear that our little corner of their former warehouse on Hartrey Ave is no longer an appropriate home for our northern outpost.

We're moving on, and working our hardest to find a new space that will support our programs and our community. We need your help to get there! Our goal is to raise $30,000 by April 30th to cover moving expenses and the transition to the new space (and hopefully not a prolonged closure like our last move 😅)
