Evanston Non-Profit Spotlight: C&W Foundation
C&W Market Foundation’s Mission: To enrich the Evanston community by providing essential grocery access to those facing food insecurity and fostering career skills in the food and culinary industry.
C&W Market Foundation’s Impact: Since 2020, the Foundation has helped thousands of families facing food insecurity meet their household food needs.
Grocery Giveaway: Every other Saturday (9am-10am) at the corner of Church and Dodge families facing food insecurity can come pick-up a free bag of groceries for their household. Groceries include fresh produce, non-perishables, meat, and eggs.

At C&W Market Foundation, we believe that access to food is a basic human right. That’s why we serve our neighbors with dignity and without judgment. When someone comes to us for groceries, there are no hoops to jump through and no questions asked—we simply provide what’s needed. By removing barriers, we ensure that every person we interact with feels welcome, respected, and cared for.
Your Support Means Everything: Food is more than nutrition — it’s security, stability, and dignity. At C&W Market Foundation, we believe no one should face barriers when putting healthy, nourishing food on the table.

The C&W Market Foundation team is excited to announce our second annual fundraiser, Cocktails for a Cause, on Thursday, April 25th, 2024, at the Woman’s Club of Evanston!

The proceeds from Cocktails for a Cause will continue to make life changing impact on the Evanston community. It will help us to not only continue to serve nearly 170 families, elderly and residents bi-monthly, but to keep our food pantry stocked for families with immediate needs. Furthermore, providing ongoing opportunities to drive workforce development.
