This weekend weā€™re back at itā€¦ With two Sectional Qualifiers, Freshman Drey Pedregosa and Sophomore Leo Rodriguez, as well as the girls joining them- Juniors Alyssa Martel & Kylie Kowalisyn, we are excited for a full day of wrestling on Sunday!

Weā€™ll be at Evanston HS -ready to show up and see how many IWCOA State Qualifiers we can get!! Come on out to support. šŸ¦…

We are very proud of the boys who chose to show up in the off season for the IWCOA State Series! Freshmen Drey Pedregosa & Adrian Medina and Sophomore Leo Rodriguez came out and wrestled their hearts out.

Drey had a Major Decision, a loss, a pin & another loss landing him squarely in 4th place, and securing a spot at Sectionals.

Adrian started the day strong, with back to back pins, then a loss, and unfortunately a second loss at the last second (losing by just a couple points), ending his road to IWCOA State. We are so proud of him as a first year wrestler!

Leo also started the day strong with a pin, and then a win by decision, followed by a loss, before another pin, and then a win by decision - finishing in 3rd and securing a spot at Sectionals.

We canā€™t wait to see Drey & Leo at Sectionals, joined by our girl wrestlers!

CONGRATULATIONS to our two Sectional Qualifiers - Junior Alyssa Martel (4th - 115) and Junior Kylie Kowalisyn (4th - 135)!

We are so proud of ALL of our girls, who put in the WORK, wrestling until after 11pm on Day 1 of Regionals and showing up to do it all over again early the next morning. You all worked incredibly hard and we canā€™t wait to see what you do next!
