Come learn how to pack with horses and mules on the Olympic Peninsula! Join us for an Olympic Peninsula Packing Clinic - Intro to Pleasure Packing! Learn a fun and valuable skill to further your adventures with horses and mules into the back country.

Haul in and set up camp at your horse friendly campsite on Friday evening so you’re ready for packing instruction and experiences all day Saturday and most of Sunday. A hot and tasty Dutch oven dinner will be provided Saturday night too! Packing clinic is led by instructor Jay Adams, with 12 years' experience packing in the backcountry. Receive in depth and hands-on instruction and experience with pack saddles, fitting, rigging, building loads, hitches, highlines, hobbles, and more! Having stock and gear is not a requirement! Bringing your own stock and gear is optional. Bring it if you have, or no worries if you don’t.

With warmer temperatures expected this weekend remember to drink plenty of water throughout the day and bring extra water with you on the trail. Be prepared to protect yourself from the sun and high temperatures with sunscreen, long sleeves, a wide brim hat, and sunglasses. Know your route before heading out and let others know where you will be recreating.
