Yadi is a handsome, fun-loving boy around a year and a half old who has been with us for quite some time. He’s currently putting the finishing touches on his training through the RR Prison Program and has worked incredibly hard to become the best version of himself. Now all he needs is a family to give him the chance he’s been waiting for.

Yadi originally had a home, but through no fault of his own, he was returned when a family member developed severe allergies. They loved him dearly, making the decision heartbreaking for everyone involved.

This smart, active guy is potty trained, kennel trained, and ready to settle into his forever home. He absolutely loves other dogs and would thrive with a playful canine companion to wrestle and explore with. He has also lived with a resident cat. While supervision and a barrier have always been recommended, Yadi’s biggest concern has simply been that he wishes the cat wanted to play with him!

Yadi is the type of dog who enjoys having a purpose. He’ll thrive with a family who enjoys walks, hikes, adventures, training, enrichment, or simply including him in everyday life. Keeping both his mind and body active brings out the very best in him.

After spending so much time waiting, we would love nothing more than to see Yadi finally pack his bags and head to a home of his own. Could you be the family he’s been waiting for? ❤️

Roxy is a big-hearted Rottweiler with an even bigger personality. She came to us from Minneapolis Animal Control on the medical rescue only list. We believe her to be a young adult, maybe 2 or 3yrs old.

She's a mama at heart who loves looking after her people, especially kids! She adores little humans, although she doesn't always realize she's a big girl herself, so her excitement can occasionally be a little... enthusiastic.

This goofy sweetheart lives for snacks, snuggles, and kisses. Whether she's making you laugh with her silly antics or leaning her whole body into you for affection, Roxy's love language is making sure you know you're loved. And in Roxy's opinion, if you're sitting next to her and not petting her, you might just be committing a crime!

Roxy is also a wonderful house guest. She's fantastic in her crate, keeps it clean with no accidents, and settles in beautifully while you're away. She may let out a little protest when you leave for work, just enough to let you know she'd rather you stayed home to cuddle, but she quickly relaxes and patiently waits for her favorite people to come back.

She's incredibly loyal, endlessly affectionate, and happiest when she's part of the family. If you're looking for a best friend who will keep you smiling, remind you every day to slow down for cuddles, and happily help you clean up any snacks you accidentally drop, Roxy is ready to steal your heart. All she asks in return is a loving home, plenty of belly rubs, and someone willing to accept that personal space is completely overrated.

• Special medical note! •
Roxy is heartworm positive and has already started the road to recovery. She is currently taking doxycycline in preparation for her upcoming heartworm treatment injections. During treatment, it’s very important that she stays calm and gets plenty of rest, as limiting activity helps reduce the risk of complications while the heartworms are being eliminated.

Because of this, Roxy will go home on a foster-to-adopt agreement until her heartworm treatment is complete. She has also worked incredibly hard to lose weight, and we’d love to see her maintain a lean, healthy body condition, as keeping extra weight off will make things easier on her heart both during treatment and for years to come.

Meet Thor… the last puppy from our Bones Litter still waiting for his forever family. ❤️ One by one, we’ve watched all of Thor’s siblings head off to begin their happily ever afters. Now it’s Thor’s turn.

Thor is a happy, playful, affectionate puppy who loves making new friends, exploring the world, and soaking up all the attention he can get. He’s the perfect mix of adventurous and snuggly, always ready to play but just as happy to curl up beside you after a busy day.

Like any puppy, he’s continuing to work on potty training, crate training, and learning all the important life skills that will help him grow into an amazing companion.

We’ve seen too many wonderful dogs get overlooked simply because they were the last one left. We don’t want that story for Thor! Let’s not let him become another long-term foster dog waiting while everyone else gets chosen.

Another happy ending 🥰

After spending more than 7 months with us, Dusk is now the third long-term foster dog to find a home recently and we couldn’t be happier for him!

Like so many of our long-term residents, Dusk just needed the right family to come along. His adopters are already saying how incredibly happy they are with him and that he is the perfect addition to their family.

Watching dogs wait for months can be tough, but moments like this remind us why we never give up. The right home was out there all along and now Dusk gets to start the next chapter of his life surrounded by love.

Congratulations, Dusk! Your forever family was worth the wait. 💙

Willmar is a sweet, calm, and playful 10-week-old puppy who finds joy in everything. We aren't sure there’s anything he doesn't love!

A few of his favorite things:

💜 Meet Betsy! She is 12 weeks old and a chesapeake/pitty/?? mix at best guess. 🐾

Betsy is a sweet, brave, and spirited little girl with a big personality. She loves being part of the action and wants to go wherever her people go. New smells, new sights, and little adventures are her favorite.

She may be small, but she is not intimidated by big dogs. She runs and plays with her fosters huskies, puts up with their sass, and has no problem sassing them right back. She loves stealing their big toys and proudly carrying them off to her little hiding spots.

Betsy already knows sit and lay down, and we are working on roll over. Her recall is very good for her age, and she responds well to redirection when she needs help making a better choice.

When she is not playing, Betsy is the best cuddle buddy. She loves curling up on her foster mom’s lap, napping on her crocheted blanket, or stealing her work chair so she can be eye-to-eye with the big dogs.

Betsy is playful, smart, affectionate, and full of joy. She is the goodest little girl and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a cuddly, adventurous pup with a fun little spark.

She will be ready to head home 7/3 evening or after!

🎸 Mama Nova and her Country Rockstars are officially accepting applications and will be starting meet-and-greets soon!

These adorable pups will be making an appearance at our upcoming event this Saturday from 2:00-5:00 PM at Lawn Beach Inn in Lake Nebagamon. Stop by to meet them in person and see if your future best friend is waiting for you!

🐾 Ready to go home starting 7/5
🐾 Expected to be large-breed dogs
🐾 Currently ranging from 9-13 pounds at 6 weeks old

Mama Nova is believed to be a mix of some type of livestock guardian dog, German Shepherd, and Boxer. Dad is thought to be a Lab mix, though that’s just our best guess.

These puppies have been impressing us with their sweet personalities. They’re doing great with pellet training, have a surprisingly calm demeanor (for puppies anyway 😆), and absolutely love snuggling. They’re playful, curious, and affectionate!

If you’re looking for a large-breed companion to grow up alongside your family, now is the time to get your application in!

🐾🔎 Scooby Dooby Doo, we found a home for you! 🔎🐾

After a long search and plenty of clues, the mystery of Scooby’s forever family has officially been solved!

Just like any good episode, there were twists, turns, and a few red herrings along the way, but in the end the answer was right in front of us the whole time… his foster family! ❤️

What started as a temporary stop became exactly where Scooby was meant to be. They fell in love with his goofy personality, his cuddly nature, and all the things that make Scooby, well… Scooby.

No need for the Mystery Machine to keep searching. This case is officially CLOSED. 🕵️‍♂️🐾

Congratulations to Scooby and his family on making it official. We couldn’t be happier for this sweet boy as he begins his happily ever after with the people who already loved him like he was theirs all along.
