There is something special about coming together.

Our Range programs in Virginia hosted a Gala on May 29th, full of good food, great company, and a photo booth that stayed busy all evening.

Events like this are a real highlight for the individuals we support, and they only happen because of the staff who put their time and heart into making the night special. Thank you to everyone who came out and celebrated together.

Did you know DRCC will help pay for job-related coursework? 🎓

Through our Academic Education Benefit, full-time employees can be reimbursed for half of tuition and book costs, up to $1,000 a year. Part-time employees who average at least 20 hours a week and have been with DRCC for a year are eligible for a quarter of those costs, up to $500 a year.

A few things to know: courses must be job-related and approved by a Senior Director before you enroll, and reimbursement comes after you submit proof of credits and a fee statement.

Already on the DRCC team? Talk to your Senior Director if you're considering a class.

Meet Phil, one of the individuals we support at DRCC. He recently sent us a thank-you card for helping him get tickets to an event he was looking forward to. He didn't just sign his name. He drew himself.

Take a look at his work. The hat, the grin, the tickets held high. It's a self-portrait with real personality, and we couldn't keep it to ourselves.

Thanks for sharing your art with us, Phil.

Up to $250 toward an unexpected vehicle repair or tires.

The DRCC Employee Assistance Fund is here for DRCC team members who hit a transportation bump in the road. Eligible employees can request a one-time grant per calendar year to help cover the cost.

Supporting the people who support the individuals we serve. That's part of how DRCC works.

To qualify: 30 days on the team and in good standing. Senior leadership reviews requests within 3 days, and payment goes straight to a certified garage or licensed vendor. **Be sure to get approval before work is done.**

The DRCC Cabin is officially OPEN for the season! 🌲

Logan and Adam were some of the first to enjoy it, soaking up the sunshine, taking in the lake views, and making the most of a perfect spring day up north. Helping the people we serve enjoy lakeside views, good company, and experiences they'll remember is exactly why we love what we do.

PDs, get your program time on the calendar before spots fill up!

Puttin' Around in the Iron Range! ⛳

We're so excited to share that two of our individuals, Grant and Nicole, have joined a mini golf league at Greens on Foreteenth in Virginia, MN! Their love of putt-putt brought them out to this fun local course, and they couldn't be happier to be part of the league.

Greens on Foreteenth is a professionally built, ADA-accessible 18-hole outdoor mini golf course featuring a spectacular waterfall that streams down to a pond and fountain, all surrounded by beautiful landscaping. It's a gorgeous setting for some friendly competition out on the Iron Range. Grant and Nicole are bringing great energy to every round, and we love seeing them out doing something they truly enjoy.

A huge thank you to the team at Greens on Foreteenth for creating such a welcoming space where everyone can come out, swing a club, and have a great time. Way to go, Grant and Nicole! We can't wait to hear how the season goes. 🏌️

The conga line at the DRCC Gala is always one of the most fun parts of the night, and this year did not disappoint. Staff, individuals, families, and friends out on the floor together, smiles all around.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made this year's Gala one to remember. See you next year.

Another year, another Gala, and this one might be our favorite yet. We tried a new venue this year at the Billings Park Civic Association in Superior, and it was a perfect fit!

The food was catered by Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que of America, and it did not disappoint. Our staff had a blast putting it together and being part of the night. The Friday Fest committee did an amazing job, as they do every year!

More photos are on the way. Stay tuned! 📸
