Western Lake Superior Habitat for Humanity connects donors and volunteers who care about the quality of life and housing conditions along with those in our community. Homeowners contribute to the best of their ability, and in the case of a new or remodeled home, pay a no interest mortgage for the cost of construction. We do not rely on government funding to fulfill our mission but instead offer do

nors and volunteers a direct way to positively impact their community. We have volunteer opportunities on build sites and during the week in both our office and ReStore locations, contact us for details.

Last Friday, Alpha Nu Omega UMD hit the virtual fairways at Club One Under as their prize for winning the UMD Student Fundraising Contest!

In total they raised $1,050!

Our next Grocery Give Away is this Sunday at 11AM. CAD's Mobile Market is unable to join us, however, we did get a larger delivery this month and have a lot of turkey, produce, bread, beverages, etc. We will also have our Free Closet available for folks who want to shop hygiene items. Due to extremely cold temps, we'll have a space indoors for people to wait. We hope to see you Sunday!

Happy Thursday everyone! We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends. I know the kids enjoyed the extra snow day due to the abundance of snow we received.

What are some things you are thankful for this holiday season?

For myself (the office admin) my husband and I welcomed our very first grandchild on 11-30!! We are so blessed and thankful he arrived happy, and healthy.
