AAF Dubuque, a member of the 9th District of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) is a non-profit organization of professionals dedicated to promoting, protecting and advancing the interest of advertising and public relations. These professionals stem from many fields including retail, service industries, educational institutions, media representatives, and more. We buy it, sell it, place it, and create it. Our club is led by a volunteer Board of Directors and Officers who dedicate time, talent and resources to making the club a valuable source of information and an excellent networking opportunity for the members while following the club's Constitution and Bylaws.

🍂 Calling All Creatives: Fall Tote Design Contest

✨ Your personal brand is more than what you post ... it’s how you show up!

What an incredible session at our Personal Branding 101 workshop with Dr. Neely Farren-Eller from Loras College! 👏

We kicked things off by discussing some of our favorite brands before turning the focus inward and putting on our own strategy hats. From taking a closer look at our social media presence to reflecting on how we carry ourselves professionally and personally, we explored an important question: Does the way we intend to be perceived align with how others actually see us?

Through thoughtful conversations, honest reflection and questions from our peers, we challenged ourselves to dig deeper into our strengths, intentions and the impressions we leave behind.

Let's face it ... putting your personal brand under the microscope can feel a little intimidating! But Dr. Neely Farren-Eller created such a welcoming, engaging and comfortable environment that the conversations flowed naturally. An hour and a half flew by, and we all agreed ... we could have kept going! 🙌

A huge THANK YOU to Dr. Neely Farren-Eller for sharing her expertise, encouraging meaningful conversations and reminding us that building a personal brand starts with understanding ourselves.

And thank you to everyone who joined us, participated and made this workshop such a success!
