Shoutout to Gotta Have It Inc. for the lovely coats and winter accessories.

Poopsie's of Galena kindly donated 2 whole boxes of coats!

And we’ve had multiple community members reach out to donate their personal items they no longer use.

Thank you to everyone who has helped support this event! We are slowly building an awesome collection of donations.

Please continue spreading the word about our Warmth & Wellness Walk-In happening on November 17th from 5:30-7:30PM at the Gary Gansemer center on our campus. Email us at [email protected] if you’d like to contribute!

We’d like to give a shoutout to Cindy and the Open Closet at St. John’s Lutheran for their support of our Warmth & Wellness Walk-In!

They donated Under Armour gloves, headbands, and hats! We also received some beautiful handmade hats as well! 🤍

Join us at the Multicultural Family Center on Tuesday, October 27th for a MFC Family Meal!

Be sure to sign up for some yummy pasta and say hello to the community resources that will be there!

Join us on Tuesday, October 27th for our MFC Family Meal! In addition to the fun times for all to enjoy, we will beginning our Parent College Assistance Series as well! Each month, we will have members from various local colleges/universities on hand to work one-on-one with any families that are looking for assistance in:

General college/career search questions
Application completion assistance to any school/Common App
FAFSA related questions
General scholarship search questions

This month, we will have NICC as our College Assistance School! We will also have Loras College (January) Clarke University (February) and University of Dubuque (March) as well!

Exciting news… we have cable gun locks!

A cable gun lock is a device used to physically disable a gun to prevent it from being loaded or fired. People use these for a variety of reasons, but they all boil down to safety!

Below are examples of how the lock would be used depending on the type of gun you own. Each gun lock is easy to use and absolutely free. Please contact us if you or someone you know owns a gun and you want an extra layer of protection.
