It was another beautiful day to serve with good friends! It's about time we gave a shout out to our business partners who help make our meal what it is every week. Thanks to Big Apple Bagels for donating bagels to us to hand out every week. They've been doing this consistently for years. Thanks also to Swagat Indian Restaurant for reaching out to us over a year ago about how they could help, and for making their delicious samosa appetizers for us to hand out every week. The folks we serve appreciate these items so much, and we are so grateful for your generosity. Our community is better because of you!

To our friends and neighbors who come to us for a meal on Sundays, please be patient with us. Since we prepare the meal off site, we may be a little late to our first stop at the Dubuque Rescue Mission. We apologize for the inconvenience when we are late and appreciate your understanding.

We are extremely excited to share that St. Anthony Catholic Church is our new home for preparing our weekly meal! They have been so generous and gracious to us. It is a wonderful space, and it has been a blessing to work with them and partner with them. We are so grateful to the good people of Saint Anthony for being so welcoming to us these past few weeks!

We had a great time serving together on this beautiful Sunday. I hope you all enjoy the weekend!

We made a record 260 meals today! Everyone who came through the line got a meal. We had just enough food. The need is great, and we will be there to meet it rain or shine. Beautiful days like today are icing on the cake. We had a number of regular volunteers. It's days like today that energize us to keep going!

We had plenty of water today to go along with the meals on this hot summer day. Students from Potosi High School Huddle (FCA) came to help make and serve the meal. We also had a few regulars. We are always struck by the positive attitude of our volunteers, and by the servant hearts of so many young people in our community!
