The Authentic Connection is excited to partner with DuBrick at Kiwanis Kids Day with a hands-on building tables where kids can build, create, and play some fun Lego inspired games.

This family-friendly event is FREE for everyone, so gather the kids and join us for a morning packed with fun, laughter, and community connections.

Today we picked up EB (Easter Bunny) from the spa (Fashion Touch Cleaners) and were reminded just how lucky we are to be surrounded by amazing local businesses and people who truly care. From friendly faces to meaningful conversations, it’s those everyday moments and connections that make our community so special.

Are you looking for a fun way to be apart of an annual tradition?

The Galena Halloween Parade happens every year and they are looking for volunteers to help make it possible. You can sign up through the Galena Area Chamber of Commerce.

We’re feeling lucky to be surrounded by such an incredible community of businesses, sponsors, and volunteers. Your passion and dedication are what make Galena such a special place to live, work, and visit.

As you plan your list of where you want to dedicate your time in 2026, the Galena Chamber is in need of 80 volunteers to make the Annual Galena Parade on October 31st, a success and to keep it safe for all!

We must have volunteers or the parade cannot happen due to safety of all attendees. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact [email protected]. Thank you for being part of what makes this community so strong.
