Detroit Harvest Fest is bringing a full weekend of fall fun for the whole family to Ralph Wilson Park, October 3 & 4!

Here’s what’s we've got lined up for the kids:

🍁 Kids Adventure Trail presented by Priority Health
Trick-or-treat, collect giveaways and meet community partners along the way. Costumes encouraged!

🎃 Pumpkin Patch & Games Zone
Kids 12 and under can pick out a free pie-size pumpkin, decorate it and jump into the pumpkin games zone. Pumpkins are available while supplies last.

🎨 Art Alley
Get creative with free, hands-on art activities led by community partners.

🎬 Movies on the Summit presented by Huron-Clinton Metroparks
Settle in on the DTE Summit Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon for Hocus Pocus (Saturday 6pm) and Hotel Transylvania (Sunday 2pm).

🎤Detroit Harvest Fest Live Entertainment Lineup has Dropped!

October 3 & 4 at Ralph Wilson Park experience four stages, dozens of live performers, large-scale fitness classes, costume contests for pets (and humans!) and new this year, movies on the Summit!

You won't want to miss headliners Larry Lee and Back In The Day, Saturday, October 3 at 3pm on the Summit Main Stage. Plus, we'll have a dance party to close out the weekend with Detroit House Collective, Sunday, October 4 from 4-8pm.

We're ready for this rain to go away... luckily, the weather is looking sunny and warm this weekend!

Even better - all cafes, bars and amenities on the Detroit Riverfront are open all weekend and on Labor Day, Monday, September 7!

Stop by our parks for a snack and a drink and enjoy some time on the Detroit Riverfront this holiday weekend.

Most amenities will close for the season after Labor Day (excluding the Valade Shed Bar & Cafe, which are open year round).

UPDATE:
Gabriel Richard Park paths are now open. The park lost more than 20 old growth trees and was closed while the team cleared up the hazardous conditions. Thank you to our incredible team who worked tirelessly this morning and afternoon to clear all paths and reopen access to the Riverwalk. Please avoid the grassy areas of the park as restoration will continue to take place over the next couple of weeks.

Cleanup efforts have begun at Gabriel Richard Park in response to significant damage sustained in yesterday's storm. We will keep the community informed when the park is cleared, safe and ready to reopen.

All other Detroit Riverfront Conservancy Parks are open and available for restrooms, water filling stations, charging outlets and WIFI is available at Valade Park and Cullen Plaza.

Thank you to our cleanup crew for their hard work and quick response. Stay safe, Detroit.

It’s September, which means that we have officially started our countdown to Soirée for the Greenways! On September 18, join us for our 21+ masquerade fundraiser on the Southwest Greenway to support the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy and Joe Louis Greenway Partnership.

You won’t have to wait until Halloween to dress to impress- enter the Soirée costume contest for the chance to win our Grand Prize courtesy of JW Marriott Detroit Water Square! Our most creative, well-dressed guest of the evening will get to enjoy an overnight stay in a river-view Executive Suite, breakfast for two at Verena, valet parking for one vehicle, and a $200 spa credit (available upon the opening of the hotel March 2027).
